A great app to use with any vintage camera that doesn’t have a built in light meter. I use it to occasionally check my Sunny 16 rule, when it’s not exactly bright and sunny.

Accurate and easy to use
I have gotten back into film photography and have been testing many old cameras. Most of the time the original light meters don’t work, and rather than buy a random cold shoe unit I use this app. It’s works great. Very accurate and versatile. I’ve developed photos that are very well exposed in camera.

A simple, clear light meter app. Not for complicated situations, but does everything a simple, straightforward photography light meter needs to do.

It does what you need it to do: helps you figure out the settings to use for you SLR or other kinds of cameras. Definitely helpful when using a film camera and you’re locked in on your ISO
If you’re getting into film photography, I definitely recommend using this app!
My recommendation for beginners: do some research on what each of the camera settings do, as each has their own technical/artistic element, this app doesn’t help with the style, it’s more like a calculator to help you with the lighting math (if ykyk) :)

Incredibly useful tool for shooting with manual cameras, really only one feature missing, and that’s the ability to change focal lengths.
