Be careful!!

You will not have access to you data from previous app versions within the app. Historical data is only available from the portal! App insights restart so you lose your GMI/HBA1C except getting your records online. Not good enough.

Far from perfect app

Since changing to the new app I’ve been having my sensor drop out every 5-10 minutes the old app was so much better I think this one has missed the boat

Data Entry

Just started using the Libre3 and this app. I don’t particularly like that the data has to be separately entered, I much prefer LibreLink were everything could be entered on the one page. But being able to see the time in range graph on the Libre app is pretty cool.
I will be going back to Libre 2+ and LibreLink.

Font size

Overall the app is ok but it is so hard to use when the font is so small and not bold. Diabetics with poor vision like me will have a real problem seeing the info it provides.

Libre 2

I have used the LibreLink app for several years and am very happy with its performance and data that it gives me to enable me to manage me health the main annoyance is how often the signal drops out
I have only used the Libre 2 app for several weeks and think that it could be a really useful tool for me and the medical team looking after my health
There has been a considerable reduction in signal loss incidents and I like the glucose reading , notes , and the worm on the same screen so I can see the trends

Improvement to graphs

Good app.
It would to be great
for glucose level graphs to have the functionality, that the user can tap and see the exact reading at any given point, much like they have on stock price graphs.

So much worse

The alarms on this app are too loud and intrusive to use! I was give a Libre 3 sensor to try and had to download this app to use it. Will be going back to the old app as soon as this sensor expires. Will be looking for a new system if the old app changes its alarm

Letdown

Says everywhere that the history from the previous app with update instantly when logged in to the same account. And of course it didn’t. Called the support line and nothing happened and still. Or resolved. Don’t encourage us to go to the new app if it doesn’t work properly.

Less functionality

The new app does not allow you to scan an insulin pen. Does not give me accurate data recording.

A lot better than the old app

The new app links to an Apple watch and allows you to easily check the BGL graph when you get an alarm. It is more stable and the Home Screen allows you to set the time scale of the plot. Plus all the old remote cloud data sharing and monitoring functions remain. It is way easier to use and will be far easier to learn for new users compared to the old app.

Average

The old app was significantly less glitchy. Not loosing connection as often. Also the fact that high and low alarms were not automatically on when you first downloaded it was a questionable decision by Libre…

What not right in the new version

Although the new version has some advantages, it has lost flexibility and it slower to navigate. The loss most important that was helping my doctor was the HbA1c measure, which was using blood to measure. GMI is a calculated measure and can be, is not reliable

Different

There are parts that are much better than the last app, but also parts I used all the time that are no longer available. Biggest disappointment is that it doesn’t carry data over from previous app even though you log into your account

Ugly and clunky

Ugly to look at. Adding meals, bolus insulin, basal insulin, exercise, and notes are all now separate things making using the app take upwards of five times as long just to keep your records up to date, and the logbook is borderline unreadable. A downgrade over LibreLink except for the predictive alarm

Reliability

From the sensors i have used i make these comments
First sensor failed and replaced
Second ok
Third ok
Fourth failed and replaced
Current sensor readings are inconsistence with previous sensors
This also has will be replaced.
The only change is the app ( new app and new sensor )
I have lost confidence in your sensors to deliver a reliable and accurate result.
I have been asked to verify your sensor by going back to blood pricks .
If go to blood pricking , there is no need to have your sensor .
Your system is great advance with obvious upside, but i need a result that i can rely upon so i can make decisions about my health .

New application

Downloaded the new application about 10 days ago and still getting used to it
So far so good
One improvement? I would like is for the ability to select what type of meal I was taking.

Libre

They go off line from time to time and the 2 plus sensors have a higher failure rate than type 1 did. That aside make a massive difference to not having them to the point I feel lost when 1 breaks and I don’t have a replacement at hand

Appreciate the improvements!

I really appreciate having an Apple Watch app now! If possible, it would be even better if the Watch complication could show the glucose level, instead of just launching the app

Response from developer

Thanks for the suggestion. We are continuing to improve the app and we will look in to this.
