What's New in LibreArm

1.5.0

January 13, 2026

New in v1.5.0 • Always-Visible Hypertension Graph – Blood pressure graph is now permanently displayed on the main screen – No longer hidden behind a modal or button – Shows a placeholder graph with reduced opacity when no readings exist yet – Automatically updates with each new reading – Color-coded zones: Low (cyan), Normal (green), Prehypertension (orange), Stage 1 (pink), Stage 2 (red) • Settings Persistence – User preferences are now saved between app sessions – “Save to Apple Health” toggle state is persisted – “Average (3 readings)” mode selection is persisted – Delay slider value is persisted (15s, 30s, 45s, or 60s) – Settings are restored automatically on app launch • Improved UI Layout – Streamlined interface with no shifting elements – Removed app icon from the main view to reduce clutter – Top bar now shows “LibreArm” on the left and “Blood Pressure” on the right – Status and battery information displayed on a dedicated line – Delay slider is always visible (disabled when not in Average mode) – Fixed layout prevents UI jumping when toggling settings • Enhanced Graph Integration – Hypertension classification graph embedded directly in the reading card – Proper axis labels (Systolic / Diastolic in mmHg) – Zone labels clearly positioned and left-aligned – Reading plot point includes a white border and shadow for better visibility • Version updated to 1.5.0

Works great!

Thank you so much for making this available. My wife and I rely on our Qardio unit to take twice daily measurements. It means a lot that we can do it at home with this App.

Brilliant !!

Thank u so much for making this app — I’ve been using my Qardio for 5+ years only to find out there is no longer an original app for my iPhone … and your app works perfect — ❤️🩸

Flawless execution

I found my old Qardio Arm in a drawer and decided to use it only to find out that the app no longer works. This LibreArm app worked flawlessly first time. I love the simplicity. Well done!

Finally a solution

This so great that someone has figured out how to get the Qardio blood pressure monitor to work again! It’s no longer a $200 brick. The app interface is great and I had it up and running in under a minute. Thank you to the app developer!!

Thank you. Elegant design

Qardio Arm’s form factor and functionality is brilliant. When Qardio disbanded and removed the app from the App Store; LibreArm was built as the perfect, and much better, replacement. The existing hardware is still usable for us who need to keep accurate tracks on our BP. Having readings stored to Apple Health is easy with an immediate graph help visualise where you are. A friend can easily take a reading by switching that off so a random reading doesn’t throw off your doctor.

This app doesn’t pick up on QardioArm’s ‘irregular heartbeat’ function. Which, on the Qardio app was annoying, until I was told, for me, it was real! But, the AFib function is best left to Apple Watch (that did precisely lead me to a heart operation).

I am grateful to the efforts put into maintaining a key blood pressure measurement recording tool - LibreArm.
