Bring back the old app!!!
I just updated the app and I can't stand this version! Sure it looks pretty but it's much more difficult ti navigate. I've listened to Librivox daily for years so this is very frustrating. One example is in the old app I could just press the author or readers name while in a book and it would automatically pull up a list of their work. Also, the search bar used to be much more accessible. Please update again to retrieve all of the capabilities this app used to have.

If i create a folder for my audio all the versions have to stay in there
If I create a folder for my audiobook, that means all versions have to stay in the full forever then means version 14 and dramatic reading from Charles Dickens a Christmas Carol because I leave the librivox app version 14 and dramatic reading of a Christmas carol with be out of the folder then it will not be a complete a Christmas Carol audiobook folder that only has all 13 versions in in the folder

Great app killed by horrible update
This was my go to app for audiobooks. Easy, maybe a bit outdated, yet effective. Until a new update placed visual design over practicality. Now I can’t find what I was reading. Might look good, but it is a nightmare.
Great app
I’ve been using this app to listen to all sorts of classic stories, mysteries and adventures. I have used this app for years and continue to come to it when I’m in need for being read to. I continue to find interesting science fiction series including more recent authors!

I love this app, i use it every single day. the books are so varied and interesting and there’s so many excellent narrators. now with the refresh it looks fantastic as well as performs fantastically!

No books
I wish there was a way to view the books on the app prior to purchasing it. I pay 2.99 for the app to find out that the books of the author that I wanna read are listed I wasted my money.
Books Open within Ch 1, NOT at Beginning
I just paid for the PRO version and am shocked that none of my books begin at the very beginning. I have to manually go back. This will become very tedious and annoying. Please FIX. Thanks!

A true gift
An absolutely staggering amount of books read to you by people who like them. The app generally works fine and a quick reset fixes it when it doesn’t. If you’ve found this in the App Store you ought to give it a try, I bet you’ll find something you like!

Issue with Downloaded Files no longer play due to problem with archive.org
During October 2024, when this App stopped playing newly downloaded files, problem was due to archive.org, which is the hosting service for LibriVox files and which had been hacked and thus had suspended downloads. Once archive.org was functioning normally, this app worked perfectly.
