Constant payback errors
I love that I’m supporting my local bookstores but I’m constantly having to force close the app due to playback errors.
Edit: I wrote this review a while ago and I still encounter a lot of issues with this app. I listen to audiobooks for several hours a day at work and I have to force close the app at least 5-6 times each day due to playback errors.

Should be shareable
I love that our local bookstore can get a share of our purchases, but it’s unfair that we can’t share our purchases with family members. When we buy physical books we can shred them as many times as we like. Why can’t we at share our digital books in a similar manner?

Great audio books selection
I love this app because the money that I pay for a subscription is comparable to Audible but my money goes to the local book store of my choosing. In this case The Katonah Reading Room.
The best audiobook app!!
I LOVE this app!!! The first reason why is when you purchase a book or credits on libro.fm they share the profit with a local bookstore of your choice. The second reason is that libro.fm is employee owned!! in a world of companies selling out to venture capitalists, companies like this are so important and it’s hard to find apps that actually run well that don’t have massive funding behind them but libro.fm is an absolute treasure.

Great story about adolescent grief and healing
Great story about adolescent grief and healing that kept everything very relevant. Rezavand for everything from the timeframe to a Big historical event to relating to different interests like Outdoors, hiking, baking, dealing with grief, etc. I cried at the end way more than I thought I would.

Libro is the best audio app! Profits go to an independent bookstore of your choosing with each purchase. Interface is intuitive and easy to use. The store has tons of titles.

Getting it truly own what you buy digital it great! This app allows you to download the book off app to your phone or computer so you truly have control over it. Incase you lose your account. Unlike audible

Libro is a certified B Corporation that offers a large variety of audiobooks. Soon they will also have ebooks as well. Great customer service and sales offered throughout the year!
Way better than Audible
I wanted to leave all things Amazon behind and someone recommended Libro.fm. Instead of your subscription going to a billionaire it goes to a local bookstore of your choosing! The subscription model is the same except if you need to pause your subscription you can access your unused credits. I have never had any trouble getting the book I wanted.

Ethical Audiobooks!
You own the actual audio files on Libro. Audible you do not. Also purchases go through local bookstores rather than one of the biggest corporations in the US.
Feel good alternative to Kindle
I’ve used Libro for years, preferring not to send any more money to Amazon than I need to. The catalog is robust and functionality on par with any other audio book app.
Feedback
My only complaint is that sometimes the chapter titles don’t transfer over. Sometimes the chapter titles are the name of who is speaking making it difficult for comprehension.
