Best Audiobook App
This app is SO easy to use, there’s even a car mode! I find it’s simple to navigate, fast, and I really appreciate that my subscription supports a local bookstore of my choice!
Supporting local and with convenient audio book access
I love this app! I absolutely adore that it allows me to support a local book store of my choice with the proceeds from my purchases! The best yet is not supporting any of Bezos’ companies. I am absolutely not against someone earning REASONABLE riches from their work and innovation. That any small group of men should be able to purchase our politicians’ favor above doing the work of the majority of their voters and to the detriment of the vast majority of society is abhorrent, immoral and I refuse to contribute my money to it. This company for now hasn’t become an evil empire trying to suck every last penny out of its customer while feigning beneficence. Lowering prices to crush competition and then raising them once the competition has been decimated. I do hope for improvements in the selection of this app but for now I am very satisfied and so long as I don’t catch wind of any massive campaign donations or PAC donations from this CEO or company, they will have my financial support.

I love this app and am so happy to have found it through my local bookstore who I am able to continue to support. I could never keep up with a book club until doing audio books. It’s nice to be able to support locally even though I’m not purchasing physical copies

Hi! I love this app. it is very easy to use and stable! I really appreciate this service. the only thing I believe is missing is a way to bookmark on watchOs. as of now, the only way I can add a bookmark is to open my phone app. could we add this as a feature on the watch app?

I am such a fan of libro.fm! I had never bought audiobooks before using this app despite being someone who always has an audiobook (or three) going and regularly relistens to old favorites. It is so nice to have an option that doesn't require a subscription to keep access to your purchases and that supports local booksellers! I recommend this app to anyone who loves audiobooks

Nice alternative to other similar apps
I wanted an app that isn’t owned by amazon or similar. Libro supports independent bookshops, sadly not the one I was hoping to support. But it’s better than the alternatives. It would be even better if you could buy books in the app.

Great Audible Alternative
I was hesitant to switch over from audible, afraid that it doesn’t offer the same features and ease of use. Glad that I took the leap, because this has all the things I need it to do. Plus, I get to support my local bookstore instead of a big corporation!!
