great family game
A few months ago, while on a family trip, we started playing the License Plate Game. We didn’t spot all 50 states before the trip ended, so we’ve kept the game going ever since!
Now we’re on a mission to find every state license plate. 🚗🇺🇸 It’s been so much fun, and everyone in the family gets involved.
I highly recommend giving it a try on your next road trip—or even just while you’re out running errands. You’d be surprised how exciting it gets when a new state shows up!

Amazing, I love it!
This is an extraordinary game. It is so useful for road trips, and it keeps you busy. I love how it rates the license plates based on how far away it came from, and how it gives you a score. I would definitely recommend, 10/10, or in this case, 5 stars/ 5 stars!

Great game for monthly contests
A group of my friends at work started playing a version of this on a different app almost 3 years ago. That app never updated so we were forced to find a new one. All I can say is this one is way better than the one we were using! We do a monthly contest to see who can see the most license plates every month. And the loser has to buy lunch that month. It’s fun for adults and kids. I’m a Girl Scout leader and if I’m driving my girls around anywhere they even get in and on the game. We have specific rules and everything! semi truck trailers don’t count. And neither do temporary license plate. It’s just so much fun.

The license plate game is my favorite game. I live in an area where I can play this game year round. It takes 4 to 6 months to complete a game. When I upgraded my phone the app I was using was no longer compatible so I downloaded about 8 apps. This app made it into the top 3 but in order to complete a game I have to collect all of Canada. I like that the Canadian plates are apart of the game but I don’t like that I have to find all of the Canadian plates to complete the game. Where I live we’re only going to find the common ones. I love that they have Washington DC. Not all apps have this plate.

Just a heads up you get 8 plates free and then to mark the rest you have to pay for the game. I deleting and trying another.

We love this app. It keeps you alert while driving and the anticipation is fun waiting for a plate you don’t have yet!

We love this app. Would be great to add a category for Us Government plates. And we saw Guam once, but couldn’t mark it down.
Great game
Our family plays “the state game” every time we travel. This app is perfect for keeping track of which plates we’ve seen and the map lets us visualize the coverage of each trip.
Our favorite road trip tradition!
We’ve used this app for two years now on several long road trips and it is our favorite version of the license plate game! Great interface, very user friendly. And we love finding the “epic” plates! We plan to use this app for many years to come!
Feature Request
I accidentally crossed off a state that I didn’t see while I was driving. I don’t see am undo option or a way to sort your found plates by date to unselect that way. I hope this can be added. Message me on Shack. (Tangles)
Road trip
We travel with friends and we play the game to see who can get the most first. It is always neck and neck. We are all grown adults and find this to help pass the time.
Easy to use
We downloaded this for a weekend trip. It was easy to use and the price was right. Kept everyone looking for different plates all weekend.
Would like to play with friends
App is simple and fun which is cool! It would be better if you could compete with a friend though. IE: a friend and I play license plate bingo but we live two states away from each other. Being able to say either first person to all 50 states wins, or a literal bingo board that each player has but be able to see both boards so you always know who’s winning. Or maybe custom rules like first person to 26 states etc… just an idea.
