Awesome app
Awesome app for recording depth information. Using this for data capture, would be great to have:
grayscale mode
Known distance-color mapping
These would make the video/images very useful for further processing.
Thanks!

Had promise, seemingly abandoned
This app was awesome when it first came out some 4 odd years ago. But the updates stopped a year into its release. The front sensor works well, the rear sensor works too but it has had visual artifacts for the longest. Beware.
It works mostly! For 99 cents can’t complain much.
The front camera works perfectly. While the rear lidar has some glitches. I hope the developer updates it! I’d pay another dollar to help fund the development time!
Neat and sorta mostly works
The rear view is very low resolution, which the app intro does warn about. On an iPhone 14 Pro though, the screen glitches every couple seconds.
The front facing view works fine and has much better resolution. It can capture decently between about 8 inches up to a few feet. Past 6 feet things get pretty vague and you’d probably have to already know what you’re looking at to make things out.
For 99 cents I’m okay with the fun factor and supporting a small developer. However I do wish the back facing view wasn’t buggy at least.

Works poorly
Very very buggy and glitchy
Nice to use the phone’s capabilities
But it also shows the lack of resolution on the LiDAR, hopefully apple upgrades the sensors in the future, great app however
Keeps crashing.. but it’s a decent infrared app
About one minute in it’ll crash
i’m on iphone 11 btw

Good use of lidar and truedepth camera
the first few times i used the app with the truedepth camera the image always froze after five seconds, the normal lidar sensor worked okay. Somehow I tried again later and it’s working fine now and the quality is good. The resolution is low but that’s just the sensors fault. I’m using iphone 14 pro with ios 16.1, was hoping the lidar was upgraded from previous phones, but doesn’t look like it’s the case.

Interesting App
Please can you let me know where the photos and videos are stored? They aren’t saving to the usual albums
App doesn’t work
Pay meh back
Just say no
Not worth the money
App
Good app works well pretty glichty in the dark and isn’t that good but it’s not bad for a buck
16 bits TIFF export
Great app, please allow an export from the sensor of 16 bits per pixels in gray levels of the computed map. A panoramic or stitching mode would be killer too, for 3D computer graphics use as a displacement map in applications like Blender, RenderMan, etc. 🙏
Spaß-App
Preis/Leistung super. Auf iPhone 13 Pro funktioniert alles wie erwartet. Einziger kleiner Bug: Das Display wird bei jedem Frontkameravideo maximal hell und bleibt es nach der Aufnahme auch.
Fail
Didn’t work, white screen
Infrared vision doesn’t work
I have several lights that emit infrared and this app doesn’t detect any of them. False advertising.
Buena idea, mal desarrollo

Doesn’t use only LiDAR sensor
This app is a waste of money it doesn’t use just the LiDAR sensor the photo of in the cave is not real it uses the camera give the image in a super dark room it will somewhat work but it is not clear at all.
Works as advertised..
Works as advertised.. uses LiDAR Scanner and Face ID scanner to produce images.. Note: LiDAR camera images aren’t as sharp but gets the job done
Awesome app!
The good reviews are NOT fake. If you want the rear night vision to work, you need an iPhone 12 Pro or better. This app is really cool and really fun to use! I don’t know if it’s possible, but if it is, it would be great to have further range and greater resolution when in total darkness (for rear camera). A bug I noticed on iPhone 13 Pro Max when using the rear (total darkness): the view will glitch out, and it takes a moment before what’s on screen becomes recognizable. Once these are implemented, this app will be perfect! This is an awesome app, and I’m glad I could support the people who made it. What would also be amazing is if this could be in VR!
