App won’t open
Have tried time and time again to launch the app but all it does it clock with an error message. Deleting and reinstalling is no help.

Can’t even access it.
I’ve tried to download and use this app twice this weekend. It goes through the logo sequence and then times out on the second screen. Would really have liked to try it but I’ve made enough attempts! Maybe it’s crashed because of the holiday season, but that’s really not an acceptable excuse. Business lost!

This was perfect last year, always reliable and accurate on availability. This year… app just doesn’t work.. please fix

Changed how I Beach
Gather round my children and listen to a story. A story of going to the beach being a struggle. As a New Yorker I had two options for going to the beach. Option 1: lug chairs and umbrellas and everything else to the beach and being extremely uncomfortable getting there (and who knows where I’d fit those things in my New York Apartment). Option 2: bring just a towel and be uncomfortable while at the beach (sand all over me!) Lido changes the beach game entirely. Now I can easily go to the beach (with just my towel) and relax in a comfy beach chaise with an umbrella. The Lido butlers set everything up BEFORE I arrive. They give you a great spot by the beach and will even get you food. It makes the entire beach experience so pleasant. I don’t want to go to the beach any other way ever again! It’s affordable, it’s luxurious, it’s the best thing that ever happened to Jacob Riis beach. I love Lido! I tell my friends about it, they’re telling their friends about it. Heck, I might get a Lido tattoo.

The most effing amazing service and app ever!
Lido Beach Butlers is a must and a complete game changer for your beach experience! You will not go to the beach any other way after being spoiled by Lido Beach Butlers!
An app to make it complicated
Tried renting an umbrella from their stand in Rockaway, they asked me to download the app. Did that, registered with my email, only to learn they were sold out. Turns out they were over-sold that day but didn’t think to tell us.
They did attempt to accommodate us, however despite the butler service, they only setup directly in front of their station - we were max 2 mins walk down the beach and they said it is out of zone.
I can see a benefit reserving 1 day in advance, but for one-time customers we would have been better served the old way (pay on the spot).
The kicker: the website they advertise before downloading their app has malware! (redirects to a malicious site afterwards)

Yikes! That sounds frustrating. As I remember you left our stand for 30 mins and by the time you came back all of our equipment had been rented. We offered you the umbrella you wanted as we keep extra equipment in case of broken items but you were out of the service area that the National parks Service allows us to operate (we are only allowed to operate in front of the Bath House at Riis Beach as stated on the app). Regarding malware: Wix.com hosts our website and does not have malware. LidoApp.com does not have malware. If you are talking about the QR code advertised on our signs, that QR code takes you to LidoApp.com/download. This is a page on our website, NOT malware.
