Distracting
Response from developer
Hi, thank you for your feedback. There are several reasons behind the changes, not the least of which is that the old version was built over ten years ago and needed some re-engineering to work well on the latest devices and operating systems. Over the past decade we've also received requests from our users to update the app with a new look, additional features, offer more helpful content. While our original app was still functional there were several features that were broken and could not be fixed without serious code changes. There were even a couple of edge cases that left users with a broken Bible app. To support these requests, we've developed a brand new app over a two year period. As a result, we truly believe that our new app will help people get the most out of their Bibles. From the app's advanced settings, you can toggle off the option to start the app in the Home view, and it will open the app in the Bible each time or the last place viewed. Please email biblesupport@tecarta.com if you have any questions, and we'll be happy to help.
Timing
My favourite bible but
What makes this a 2 star is the audio features or lack there of.
I usually would use the audio feature often but the ridiculousness of the dramatic nature of it removes from the meaning of the word. Very disappointing.
The bible app has a simple reader that is pretty awesome. No need for the dramatic.
And there is no audio option for the study portion. Which is disappointing

Hi, thank you for your feedback. Audio for study notes is something we would like to add in the future. To explore all audio voices, you can tap the gear icon in the audio sheet. The NLT has four human narrated voice options, which have dramatized and non-dramatized options. Please email support if you have further questions.
A much needed source of inspiration at your fingertips!
Just purchased but 2 ?s off the top…
2) I’d like to copy the full section of information abt this App, but attempting to copy wasn’t possible. How can I get this info another way since I just purchased the App. I’m a tactile learner and being able to print the description info will help me know and use all of App benefits. Thank you!

Hi, thank you for your feedback. The KJV Bible can be downloaded for free in the library. In the Bible view, tap on the translation acronym at the top i.e. NLT to bring up the library. Then, tap on the Translations tab and tap the download arrow on the right side of the KJV. Tap "Download". Our support articles are available at support.tecarta.com. Long-press on the text in an article to copy. Please email biblesupport@tecarta.com if you have further questions.
Incredible
Since updating….
I loved the format the way it was
All the systems I used were changed and now I can’t even find the translations that I paid for.
I know you are doing your best to keep up with technology and probably it’s much easier for those who are much younger so, that being said, I understand why you are evolving, but for those of us who loved your program before AND are a bit older, it’s been very disappointing.
Thanks for asking.

The sustaining word of God
Life Application Bible the scriptures, beautiful pictures, and stories on which I looked forward to everyday and counted on. Then, the Psalm 139:17 popped up in my feed this morning accompanied by not only a beautiful picture, but also explanations from other bibles and I was overjoyed. I truly hope it doesn’t disappear overnight, and would be curious to know how many other people love and depend on this, so keep up the work and good job!!!
