About

How much of your life battery is left? Life Battery shows your estimated time left as a battery. It drains by the second, like real time does — and every good day charges it back. FREE. THE WHOLE RESULT. No paywall, no account, no ads. Three questions and you see your battery, your years and months left, and how many weekends that is. THE DEATH CLOCK YOU CAN RECHARGE Most life expectancy calculators give you one number and stop. Here every day counts: a 20-minute walk adds an hour, five handfuls of fruit & veg add two. A short night or a big night out drains a little. Days off count zero — never a penalty. Watch the clock roll forward when you save your day. NOTHING TO TYPE Workouts and sleep come in from Apple Health — Apple Watch, Nike Run Club, Strava, Garmin Connect and any app that writes to Health. No watch? Brisk walks are counted from your iPhone's steps. A 10-second log at night adds drinks and fruit & veg. SMOKER? EVERY CIGARETTE YOU SKIP CHARGES IT Your usual habit is already in your starting number, so each cigarette fewer than usual charges your battery. SEE YOUR WEEK Each day is a bar: what it charged, or what it drained. Green days charge, amber days drain. ON YOUR LOCK SCREEN Widgets show your battery without opening the app. SHARE YOUR NUMBER Make a story card — your age, your %, the weekends you have left — and ask your friends: what's yours? EVERY NUMBER HAS A SOURCE Life tables from the US Social Security Administration, the WHO and national statistics offices. Daily charges use David Spiegelhalter's "microlives" (BMJ 2012) and a sleep meta-analysis (Sleep 2010). It's all itemized in the app. PRIVATE Everything stays on your iPhone. No account, no servers, no tracking. Life Battery's numbers are statistical estimates for entertainment and motivation. They are not medical advice, not a diagnosis, and not a prediction for any one person. Talk to a doctor about your health.
