About
Life Uncut turns the videos already in your Photos library into simple, chronological family movies.
Pick a day, place, or special moment, and Life Uncut helps thread the clips together so your home movies feel easy to watch again. You can play a tape, save a finished copy to Photos, or share it with family through iCloud.
Life Uncut is local-first. Your video library stays on your device unless you choose to save or share a finished tape through your own iCloud. Life Uncut does not upload your family videos to Life Uncut servers.

What's New in Life / Uncut
1.0.1
September 20, 2026
Share the right tapes with the right people. - Create named groups, such as Parents or In-Laws, and choose a group each time you share a tape. - Share the same tape with more than one group while keeping each group's people and tapes separate. - See each tape's group, rename groups, and manage the people you invite. - Enjoy Life / Uncut cassette artwork in the sharing screens. This update also adds Today's Tape, tapes from Photo Albums, and private video selection, with improvements to video preparation and screen readability.
