Great app, one suggestion
App is very good, it makes it so simple to book and track appointments. I like how when you’re booking to donate it tells you the soonest date you can do it for either blood or plasma. My one suggestion to improve the app would be when you get to the screen where you select to book whole blood or plasma, the icon shows what the most recent stock levels are in your region for your blood type. I’m not sure how others decide which to donate, but for myself I would book an appointment for the one that is most in need. Or maybe a tab somewhere else in the app that shows current stocks? Anyways, great app, hope more people download and donate!

Great app
This is a great and simple app it does everything it needs to with little fuss and had all the information you need to book and keep track of your bookings. The process of adding the booking to your calendars is very easy too.

It’s my 48 whole blood donation at Red Cross Chermside and it’s a great place with a great staff members.
First time donor
Well I’ve finally taken the step and what a great experience it was. If you’ve had a blood text, then you are more than prepared with what to expect. Everyone in Brisbane City were welcoming, kind and informative. So much so, I’ve booked in my plasma and next blood donation just an hour later. Please donate and give someone a priceless gift!

Fabulous staff, incredibly helpful, caring, knowledgeable and on the ball. A very good facility, easy to access, trains close, buses, metro and plenty of parking nearby. Excellent snacks after the donation. Help others by donating blood, plasma or platelets .

Worst App Ever
I have NEVER been able to make a successful, complete booking using the Donate Blood app. There are glitches in so many stages it’s almost impossible to use. I waste 15/20 minutes trying to book and it’s so frustrating there are times I don’t donate (O neg) because the booking process is so hopeless! This has been the case for YEARS! You are losing donors!

Can’t use app.
I have had the app for along time to book appts. Today can’t get in past notification pages you swipe across. It’s like I can’t see the top of the page. Have turned phone off and on, removed app and downloaded again. Frustrating, any help appreciated.
Can’t log in
Since the app has updated I can’t log in. Pressing the log in button makes me fill in all my details and when it asks if I have a donor number and enter that in, it says there is already an account u der these details and tells me to log back in. It’s a viscous circle !!
