Pretty good

Need the ability to name each workout and then on the main page have a keyword lookup so you can quickly find the last time you did a certain exercise. Also I did a workout last night then this morning and they both go on the same sheet no matter what.. should be able to split them up. They were 13 hours apart.

Simple and easy

Was looking for a app to do the purpose this app does.

Hasnt been updated in 7 years

Definitely needs noninvasive updates.

Paywall w/o warning

I understand if they want to start charging for the app. But at least let me download my old data before locking me out.

Date?

Wish it had a date instead of last Tuesday. What happens when I’ve used it for 5 months will it only say 150 days ago? It would be really useful to have the actual date of entry appear.

lost my history

The app suddenly started charging a fee without warning and blocks you from being able to see your log without paying for it.

Simple and does the job

It does exactly what I need it to do, no more and no less. If you want to keep track of weight and reps for certain exercises then this is really all you need.

A really bad joke

Got locked out of the app mid workout because I HAD to pay a SUBSCRIPTION... FOR AN UNFINISHED BOOTLEG VERSION OF NOTEPAD++!!! For the very modest sum of 10 dollars... Sorry, 10 dollars PER MONTH!!! This dude makes 100% profit with the amount of effort he put into making it (which is basically none). I’d rather pay 10 bucks to remove that last remaining star than to give it to this clown.

Scam

This app will lock you out from you workout log after a few weeks of usage. It will ask you for seriously overpriced subscription to regain access to your records.

I’ll pay the monthly but

Add a note section for each exercise.

Update lost features

After years of using they updated the app and I can’t see stats anymore which was what I lifted last time

Good App! I have some suggestions

Simple and easy to use for quick workout setup but missing some things…

Here’s some things I wish it included:
1 - A way to add quick notes per exercise that showed up in the summary table next to the weight/rep column.
i.e. “Seated Row” “115 lbs x 15 reps” “@ level 3”
This way we don’t have to make different exercise names for the different intensity levels of one exercise.

2 - The added exercise should show up on the day that was last selected. We shouldn’t have to choose the date every single time.
i.e. On Jan 1, you are inputting your workout that you did on Dec. 31. You go to select Dec. 31st and add your first exercise, the leg press. The first set shows up in Dec. 31 but when you click “+” to add the second set, it shoves you back to “Today”. It should keep you on Dec. 31 without having to select it every single time as it was your latest selection.

3 - Option to edit/delete exercise names.
4 - Have an inventory of exercises built into the app so we don’t have to write out the whole exercise.

Things I really like:
1 - The “redo” button. It’s convenient to have the option to add a quick repeat set!
2 - The list format. Good to be able to scroll through quickly between days.

Useful but could use a couple improvements

I’ve been using this app for several months now. It’s very simple and easy to use. It does a fantastic job performing as a digital note pad. I do pay for the subscription and hope that one day some of the improvements will be added.
First, I do not know what regulates the date and time in this app. If I work out in the morning, and do a second work out in the evening, my evening work out will count as tomorrows work out. So then when I log my work out the following morning, it is listed as the same day as the evening before. This clutters my log and is inaccurate. Would like to see a way to change the date of each work out.
Second, this one is less important as the first. A share feature for the daily logged workout would be beneficial for anyone who shares their work with a coach. Screen shots work fine until you put in a high volume day. Multiple screen shots to capture the entire day is annoying.
Overall, it’s a solid app, if either of these changes happen I think the app would be nearly perfect. I am happy enough with the app and will continue to use it.

Problem - mixes up workouts from yesterday and today it’s less than 24 hours apart

PROBLEM: mixes up lifting yeatwrday with today. E.g. if I lifted yesterday at 5 PM, and then today I left at 11 AM, then it lists both under the same “today” heading with no clue as to which exercises were done yesterday versus today, which is the entire point of the app for me… (so now thinking that if this is not fixed, then I have maybe wasted my money unless I can get a refund)
PROBLEM: even after I paid for this app the app developer feedback page in the app does not work.(?) so I can only razor shoes through app reviews here.
MINOR: Not sure why all caps is prohibited

Helps heaps

Allows me to easily log lifts and keep progressive overload at the front of my program either by weight or by reps and etc. highly suggest if you are trying to be the best you possible & if you aren’t I highly suggest you begin the journey.

No app support

Unfortunately there is no app support your directed to Twitter LinkedIn etc. where I have messaged Jake more wishing to cancel my automatic renewal subscription and also inquiring room inquiring about his new app for AI fitness I do not want my payment to be taken out again at the end of my current subscription and I have no way of communicating that or getting a response at this point not sure how Apple allows this to continue

No more chart feature!

Latest version got rid of the chart feature which was the main reason I got this app to begin with. Now this app is no different than tons of other apps on the App store :/

Absolute dumpster fire

Tried this app because I wanted a quick way to log lifts, and it’s slightly more convenient than a notes app. With no notice it shut down in the middle of a workout, and just shows a paywall for an expensive subscription with no way to even go back and see what I had logged so far. What a complete scam.

Practical and note to devs

Simple and practical. You can’t add floating weight numbers.

It is A Good App But Has Frustrating Bugs

The key problem I have with it is that it does not seem to track the date/time on my iphone. I worked out yesterday, and today. It bunches all the exercises under "today". So, it mixes up my splits. I don't know what is causing this or how to fix it. The support feature on the app also does not seem to work. I found an email and twitter address to contact the developer; hope either still works? Otherwise the app is great: simple and easy, and just what I need.
