Sensor Meter

Love this app, but it seems to be missing the sensor meter. I don’t know if I don’t see it, please help let me know.

Used to work great

I’ve been using this app exclusively for many years and it has just tanked
Every time I open the app it either won’t open the camera or won’t give me readings without restarting the app

Hello! I've gotten a couple reports that something has changed in the last week or so. I haven't published a new version of the app so I am investigating. I will update here once I fix the issue.

Never used it, the moment I use it, ruins it.

2 years of never using this app, the moment I'm going to use it...it is laggy, glitchy, never metered properly. I have proper sekonic lightmeter, but I have forget it the last two times of night photography. Those two times were enough show this app is not good...from now on, I may forget the camera, I may forget the lense or the tripod, but never the lightmeter because I can't trust this app. Never.

Don’t bother

Can’t even set an ISO to meter off, try and you get an error message, with ‘yes’ instead of ‘okay’ as your only option because it assumes you are metering for the digital sensor on your phone that auto adjusts anyway. Absolutely useless for film photography. There’s free apps better than this.

Please continue to update to match android app

This app has so much potential, it leaves a bit to be desired, let me tap to select the area of the screen I want to meter for. I would like better accuracy in metering for the shutter speed when the exposure is longer than 3 seconds . I used the app on android for 3 years and it was perfect

Best iOS light meter app

For me this is the best iOS app for my Leica M3 and Hasselblad 500. Easy to use, most accurate unter all apps in the store. I really like the manual calculator wich is easy to use with the EV values. This gives a good understanding of the sunny 16 rule.
The last thing I would wish for this app is an implementation of the zone system by Ansel Adams.

Terrible on iOS

The image projected is stretched on ALL cameras. Can’t turn off histogram even if you uncheck the option. Can’t tap and select the area you want a reading… this app really needs a lot of work. The Android version is way more polished. For now, save your money and wait to see if the devs fix these issues.

Pretty nice but...

...I cannot select ND filters on my iPhone SE 2020. Please fix! Rest is perfect.

Accurate but very buggy

I’ve found this to be accurate and feature filled but very buggy.

Eg. Cannot contact developer as button is broken.

Selecting a shutter speed in reciprocity calculator bounces you back to main screen.

Not optimized for iOS

The free android version is more complete and the reciprocity calculator is not to be trusted in iOS. The spot meter function doesn’t work 80% of the time. I would love to see what the android version does on iOS. I’m using iPhone 13 pro max for reference
