Won’t open

I need large print to see. I open the app and a pop up appears telling me to select a city. There is no where to type, no link to click and no way to proceed. Nothing happens. I guess it just does not want me to use it.

SEATTLE!????

I enjoyed the experience but your the app that QR code link to is totally useless. You have a lot of cities. But where’s Seattle?

Where is Cleveland in the app??

Not sure it’s worth the download if the city I am going to isn’t part of the app??

Hi there, heracaniac.  Thanks for taking the time to review the Lighthouse Immersive app. We noticed that your review was published before Thanksgiving of last year. Since the initial success of Immersive Van Gogh, Lighthouse Immersive has opened 19 venues that are featured in the locations menu of the app.  You attended the exhibit closer to its opening and we had not yet added Cleveland to the listings. You will see it is there now and will continue to be updated to reflect information about new Lighthouse Immersive experiences as they open in existing and new locations. We hope this helps in the future!

Where’s Pittsburgh on the locations?

Great enhancement to the experience

The AR experience was very enjoyable, quite creative/informative. Great addition to the Immersive Van Gogh experience

New version of the app is great!

This is packed with cool info and some interactive games to do at the venue or at home. Adds a lot to the overall experience, and I read that they will be constantly adding new content as they add more art and culture immersive experiences. Can’t wait!

Audio guide should be upgraded

I think the app was worth downloading prior to going. It has lots of good info. And the event was enjoyable. However the audio guide needs a couple improvements. The information in the audio guide was good and made for a nice enhancement of the experience. But I was disappointed that every time I wanted to take a picture it would pause the audio guide. And if I didn’t go back to it fast enough it would reload the app and reset where I had left off back to the beginning. In addition, when my screen automatically turned off, the audio guide would pause. This doesn’t happen with audiobooks and podcasts so I know it’s a doable fix. In the meantime, if you wish to listen to the audio guide do yourself a favor and turn off the auto lock in your display settings.

Hi there, mn88mouse. Thanks for taking the time to review the Lighthouse Immersive app. We are glad to hear you got a lot out of the rich content and activities. As to the audio guide - your feedback is very valuable and we are considering solutions that will increase usability. As you say - before any hard-coded solutions are implemented, recommending users turn off the auto screen lock before opening the audio guide is a great suggestion. Thank you again and we hope you return to the app for more info, resources, and activities on Lighthouse Immersive experiences that will continue to be added as new exhibits and locations open.

Interesting and helpful

Lots of pre-visit info from parking to Van Gogh history. I went to St. Petersburg and Minneapolis showings.

Nothing of value

The email confirmation said to download the app for a more immersive experience, but failed to share that it only works if you are in New York. Waste of time.

The only content is the same information in the email that told you to download the app.

Hi there, DRal3.  Thanks for taking the time to review the Lighthouse Immersive app. We noticed that your review was published in the summer of last year. Since the initial success of Immersive Van Gogh, Lighthouse Immersive has opened 19 venues that are now all featured in the locations menu of the app. The app launched in tandem with the opening of the New York City venue and as such, it initially included specifications for New York with additional locations which were added to the menu in the fall. We’re not sure where you attended the exhibit, but you will now see a complete list of host cities. Additionally, new information about select Van Gogh works and interactives have been added since the summer. Additional info, resources, and activities on Lighthouse Immersive experiences will continue to be updated as new exhibits and locations open. We hope this helps.

Not useful

There’s nothing hear worth downloading the app for.
