About
Turn your iPhone or iPad into a focused space for handwritten notes, PDF
annotation, and lecture recording. Lina Notes brings your pen, paper, documents,
and audio together so you can stay with the class, meeting, or idea.
Use one notebook app for class notes, study notes, meeting notes, research,
lesson planning, and everyday ideas. Handwrite from a blank page, mark up an
existing document, or record the explanation while you write.
HANDWRITE NOTES YOUR WAY
Write naturally with Apple Pencil on iPad, or enable finger drawing whenever it
is useful. Choose a ballpoint, fountain, brush, or highlighter pen. Adjust the
width and color, create custom colors, and save up to six favorite pens so the
tools you use most are always one tap away.
Undo or redo, erase a whole stroke or part of one, and select handwriting with
a lasso or rectangle. Move, resize, rotate, copy, cut, paste, or restyle the
selection. Full-screen writing and left- or right-side landscape toolbars help
you create a comfortable workspace for long note-taking sessions.
BUILD A NOTEBOOK FOR EVERY SUBJECT
Start with blank, ruled, grid, dot-grid, Cornell notes, or legal-pad paper.
Choose a template for a new page, change the background of a regular page, and
mix page styles inside the same notebook. Add, duplicate, delete, and reorder
pages as your notes grow.
Insert an image beside your handwriting, share the current page as an image,
and rely on automatic saving while you focus on writing.
IMPORT, ANNOTATE, AND EXPORT PDFS
Use Lina Notes as a practical PDF annotation app for textbooks, lecture slides,
worksheets, planners, articles, and reports. Import a PDF and write directly on
its pages with the same pens, highlighters, and erasers you use in a notebook.
Open the document outline, browse its pages, and jump to the section you need.
Add note pages when the margin is not enough. Then export a new PDF with your
handwriting and highlights merged in, ready to submit, archive, or open elsewhere.
RECORD LECTURES AND KEEP AUDIO WITH YOUR NOTES
Start a voice recording without leaving the page. While you record a lecture,
class, interview, meeting, or study session, your handwritten strokes keep
their place on the audio timeline. Tap timed writing to return to the moment
connected with that note instead of scrubbing through an entire recording.
Keep multiple recordings in a notebook, pause and resume, change playback speed,
skip silence, seek to another point, or export an M4A file. Your handwritten
notes become visual bookmarks for the explanations and decisions worth hearing
again.
FIND AND ORGANIZE YOUR NOTEBOOKS
Search note titles, folders, and tags to find information across your library.
Open a result and return to the notebook you need without browsing every page.
Group notebooks with folders and tags, mark important notes as favorites, and
filter the library when you want a narrower view.
Sort by recent activity, name, or favorites first. Switch between grid and list
layouts to browse the way that fits your screen and collection. Use folders for
classes, semesters, clients, or projects, then add tags such as exam, review,
important, or follow-up.
KEEP YOUR NOTES AND FILES TOGETHER
Store your library on your device or choose another folder, including one
managed by a compatible sync service. You control where the source files live,
so handwritten notebooks, annotated PDFs, images, and audio notes do not have
to be scattered across separate apps.
Export and restore a portable .lina backup for an individual notebook. Pages,
pen strokes, inserted images, the source PDF, and recordings can stay together
in one backup when you move or protect your work.
MADE FOR FOCUSED WORK
Lina Notes is made for students, teachers, researchers, professionals, and
anyone whose class notes, meeting notes, planning, or ideas begin with a pen.
Write freely. Listen in context. Find what matters. Keep your files yours.
