Lincolnshire Live or is it Derbyshire?

This APP is very poor and to be honest if it wasn’t for the title you would think it served Derbyshire.
I am not interested in the weather in Derby, the Download Festival or the Peak District, I live in Lincolnshire.
Some articles still relate to snow, heavy rain !!! and Christmas events.
If you can’t update with Lincolnshire articles it might be an idea to shut up shop

The app works fine but the news is always way out of date and items of news stay on the site for weeks on end

Good idea, or so I thought.

I was quite keen to sign up to this as Lincoln news is pretty sparse. No soon as you start reading you are bombarded by ads, I know these companies pay and think we are all interested in their products but do we have to endure this on every page.
Now deleted the App. Nice try but fell at the first fence.

I have the app. It’s really addictive viewing. The items i want to look at, jump about all over the place, I get really frustrated
With how it is. It really needs sorting.

Review of app.

Taking away the ability to comment on this app. has taken away the appeal. There have been, and still are, some stories that need discussion, due to their absolutely ridiculous content. The grammar is at best, average, and abysmal at it’s worse. This is, alas, endemic of the National media in general.
Further to what I have already put, I now rate the app. five stars. This is because the ability to comment will be returning once things are sorted out. I should have read the update notes before commenting. Apologies ! My mistake

Hi, commenting has currently been disabled due to the app moving to a new User Account system and security. At last, a Lincolnshire news app which actually publishes some decent, sensible local news, without masses of annoying and interruptive advertising.

Great to keep up with local news but the journalism is not always great, old stories repeated.

Trolls

The news content is OK but no one seems be able to tackle the prolific comments from trolls.

You can 'report' them to the so-called 'moderation team' but don’t expect a swift response. Troll posts as old as 20 hours and more are still on the site.

I’ve just found one 25 hours old!
