Controls takes a bit to learn and is kind of weird. However the games concept is very fun, and had a blast even after getting defeated by ai. Definitely not the easiest game out there as it’s extremely detailed, but very fun nonetheless.

Lines of Battle is an excellent strategy game, set in the Napoleonic era. It allows for both tactical and strategic gameplay, and aims for realistic combat behavior for unit types.
There is not way to pay to win, everything is essentially cosmetic. There is significant depth to the game, more so than any I’ve encountered on mobile. It is, in a word, elegant.

It’s worth it
Lines of Battle is by far one of the best games I ever played. It has no ads and you can progress easily without paying a dime. The players are always kind and willing to give tips if you are struggling. It is very flexible and allows to you to play bullet games or games over several days. However, it often helps to have some background knowledge of strategy. I highly recommend to anyone interested in Napoleonic warfare.
