I love this app! It helps you learn phrases by both writing them out and saying them into a recorder which is so helpful. It has helped me with practicing my pronunciation and ensuring I’m saying portuguese phrases correctly. I definitely recommend!
Cool apps for language learning.
Liking this app for brushing up my Spanish and being ready in case I take a trip to Europe this summer. Lots of relevant lessons and fun exercises to practice and reinforce what you learned. You can set a goal to practice a certain number of phrases per day. You can choose what lesson you want to learn for situations like ordering at a cafe or taking a taxi somewhere, not stuck on rails learning vocab. Recommend Lingidy to travelers and students.

Good language app for travelers
I spent the last few years traveling through Europe and working on my travel business. I like this app because it covers almost all European language French, Spanish, Swedish, etc and combinations, so you can learn Spanish from English or French if you know a bit of that. The lessons are situational like Checking into a Hotel which I find more useful than being forced down a path like Duolingo. But you have to choose a lesson to start which made me hesitate when I started. I like the pronunciation exercise a lot because I can practice speaking and it tells me if what I’m saying would be understandable to a native speaker. It also has a translator so if you search for a phrase and it doesn’t find it in a lesson it will give you the translation. It might be nice to have more progress tracking but overall this is a really cool app for learning conversational language to make your travels more meaningful.

Nice and Interactive
I loved the user experience and user interface this app has. It is just a fun and easy way to learn a language. I am learning French so I am using their another Translator app as well which is really useful. It just makes language learning a part of your routine and which makes u consistent 💁🏻♀️✨

Best language app I’ve used
Trying to learn Italian. While in an Uber or train this is the perfect app to practice. 5/5.
Trying out the Swedish.
Early days so far. Started at the Beginner level, although I do have some previous experience wit the language. The level of repetition on each phrase is good for learning and reinforcing. There are possibly too many button pushes to keep moving forward in the lesson, but I haven’t checked for short cuts in the Settings menu yet.

This app is incorrect
This app wants every phrase that’s said incorrect, it can’t hear anything and just wants to be an incorrect learning app which is not a learning app at all as it doesn’t even want anyone to be able to say anything in any language

Prof de français ici, je ne recommande pas souvent d’application pour apprendre les langues (en dehors des applications de types « flashcard »), mais ça reste utile lorsque l’élève n’a pas de de partenaire pour pratiquer la langue.
Cette application propose des leçons et des exercices qui apprennent aux utilisateurs à comprendre et à parler le français, l'anglais et plusieurs autres langues européennes et asiatiques. Je dis « parler » car il existe un exercice qui capte votre voix et vous indique si vous avez prononcé une phrase correctement. Je l'ai essayée plusieurs fois et cela fonctionne plutôt bien, même si ça ne remplace pas un vrai professeur.
Le fait de pouvoir apprendre avec des célébrités comme Edith Piaf grâce à leur fonction « AI chat » est plutôt sympa. Avoir Edith Piaf ou Harry Styles corriger les erreurs des élèves est assez… mémorable !
Je recommande.

Ce qui frappe à la première utilisation de cette appli, c'est qu'il y a énormément de contenu et que l'on peut commencer par ce que l'on veut (ce qui change de certaines applis que j'ai testées et qui m'obligent à maîtriser les noms de fruits, de légumes ou autres avant de passer à la suite...).
Le gros plus, ce sont les phrases toutes faites ! Très utiles, elles m'ont permis de commencer à discuter avec un ami allemand dans sa langue maternelle alors que je venais de débuter.
Et ce qui différencie vraiment Lingidy des autres, c'est l'intégration d'un tuteur IA pour des conseils personnalisés. Je trouve l'idée originale et j'ai hâte de voir jusqu'où ils iront ;)

Nice!
This version has some nice improvements like different difficulty levels and hints for some of the exercises. On the last version if you got stuck trying to spell a word, it could bring you down. Now when you Check, it shows the letters in the wrong place in red.

Great app
Simple, fun practice exercises.
Good app, iPad
This is a neat app for learning languages that goes beyond simple lessons. It has a chat mode that allows you to simulate a conversation and get corrected if you make mistakes. But there are a few formatting issues on iPad that could make it better. Just cosmetic stuff.
Good language app
I tutor students online for a living, and a bunch of other things too so I appreciate good learning tools when I see them. Ligidy is a good app for several reason but I would say the best is that the lessons throw you some curveballs every so often to keep your attention. You can only hear « What is your name », « my name is » so many times, but what other app teaches you to say « Are you pregnant🤰🏽?» as part of a lesson called Making Enemies, which comes right after Making Friends. Lol The new chat feature is a fun way for student to learn a language and about other subjects of interest at the same time. This is the way to the future for language apps.

Chat feature rocks
I downloaded this app a few months ago to learn Spanish and I like the lessons a lot. I noticed the recent upgrade had a new chat feature so I gave it a whirl. I tried chatting with Pablo Picasso in Spanish about art. So fun and really useful because it will correct you if you ask it to. If you don’t know what to say in Spanish you can just say it in English, and see what the translation would be. Hoping they will add voice so I can practice my pronunciation like for the exercises. Highly recommended 👍👍👍👍👍

Swedish Dolphins Rule 🐬🇸🇪
I tried previous versions of this app a while back to maintain my Swedish and I liked it a lot. But this version is amazing because you can just have a chat conversation in Swedish, or German French Italian whatever language and the app will respond in that language, and in English translation too so you can compare. And you can chat and respond in Swedish, or English if your Swedish isn’t great and it will translate it in real time. I read that you can ask the tutor to pretend to be any celebrity so I asked it to Bridget Bardot, and it did 😂😂😂😂😂 Hej Bridget, hür må du? Haha So funny, and the tutor can talk about things that only BB would know. And it says that the next version will have real voices, can’t wait for that.
