Good learning aid
Good complementary learning aid, pretty broken for true beginners with just dumping into phrases without any grammar rules or structure. Would not purchase as an initial learning app.
Finally, I can study Thai
I love apps that keep me engaged. Things like Duolingo aren’t the best for learning to fluency but it does keep you engaged and consistent, but Duolingo doesn’t have Thai. I think LingoDeer is a perfect substitute and might actually be better with some of the explanations

LingoDeer has been the best app to learn a language on I am so happy I registered, I have been learning Russian for a few months now and my Russian has improved, I can speak, read and spell Russian words and phrases and construct sentences now thanks to LingoDeer, I recommend LingoDeer. All trapped behind paywall
I finished 1 section being nationalities and I can’t move onto professions unless I pay. The app is nice I just can’t rlly do much neo unless I pay.
Best ap for Korean
I love LingoDeer! I’ve been using it to learn Korean for over 1,000 continuous days (the longest I’ve ever stuck with anything!) I love how the structure is very clear, there’s lots of grammar woven into it so you really understand how the language works. Also, it’s so flexible that you can move backwards as well as forwards if you want to go back and revise. I use all the ‘review’ tools to keep repeating and learning as they help me memorise many new words and phrases. I’ve turned lots of friends onto this app and they love it too!

Update 9/11/26: After many years of being away, I picked this app back up almost 2 months ago and I am very pleased with it. Great updates and refined structure. They listen to reviews and enhanced the app. Back in 2018, I had issues with kanji being used for answers when they hadn’t been taught, and I see that’s been fixed (so I removed that review). I started my learning path from the beginning, even though I know the basics, but it served as additional reviews and to get a feel of the new layout. The learning tips are a great added tool.

My favourite language app
Been using LingoDeer for well over a decade now. It even has Malaysian which I could not find on any other app! The number of travels I did where I get compliments for my language is uncountable! You get real human voices and a progression that makes sense. I love it!
