Excellent App!!

When looking for an app as comprehensive as this, and as generous with their free version), I can only ask for a lifetime warranty LingoryPass option. I rate it 5/5 because I enjoy the ability to learn like I’m in school, test out where I don’t need, and engage an AI model when I come across Korean sentences I don’t understand. New here, looking to add this app to my Korean learning curation.

Sound doesn’t work

I don’t usually rate apps but I really wanted to use this app so I am only rating this out of hope that they fix this issue. The sound is so buggy, whenever I play a word the first part is always so hard to hear and then the rest of it is fine. It also seems to automatically mess with my volume since I see the volume slider on my phone changing on its own any time I play sound. My headphones keep turning on and off noise cancelling on their own as if the volume source is changing. I tried the clearing app cache but that does not help. I don’t know why this is happening but I hope there is a fix and maybe one day I will reinstall.

Wtf

ad every button you press… jesus christ i uninstalled so fast!

uses ai

duolingo has been going downhill for a while so I thought I would give this a go. In creating my account, it said they use ai to recommend me stuff in speaking lessons? something like that. the second i saw "ai" i finished my profile because you have to to carry on, and immediately deleted my account. i want to learn Korean, not be targeted with ad bots that boil rivers.

Loving it. Giving suggestions

I love the app. They have a good balance of vocabulary and grammar. One thing is I wished there was a review vocabulary button where it would randomly make a quiz for vocab you already learned. I wanted to review vocab but they only have where you can manually select the vocab words to test. I would say the app is a little bit laggy but it works fine. I also wish the vocab we learned would automatically be counted as vocab instead of having to manually do the vocab and checkmark it to add it to the vocab section.

Good content, extremely laggy

The lag is awful, but the actual content is good.

Great with a few Kinks

This is a really good Korean learning app. If you’re trying to stop using Duolingo, this is a great replacement. Really clear audio examples and fun, interactive app. Has clear breakdowns of the language and how different words are used. Only problem is it REALLY is not designed for Bluetooth users. The delay in Bluetooth headphones means I often miss the beginnings of words that I need to spell. If you get this app, you gotta use wired headphones. Also sometimes the ads make the app crash. Otherwise my Korean has never been better!

Fun way to learn vocabulary and grammar

I love that I can access all the main lessons for free (and the ads aren’t that bad). I like the separate vocabulary section where I can learn words grouped by themes. I wish I could increase the font size more though.

Needs support for iOS 26

Love the app, just wish it worked for ios26 on apple

uhmm…

ok, not gonna lie, this app kinda sucks… i rated it five stars so u could see it but when i opened it and put my email n stuff i clicked on the lesson but its in ALL korean so idk if u gotta fo somewhere else but i think it is in all korean so i dont recommend using it…

The UI makes this app unusable

I really wanted to like this app, but it’s just not usable in its current state. It feels like it was designed for one specific screen size… on my phone the font hierarchy and padding are almost nonexistent, and on tablet it’s completely unusable.

If the team could spend some time refining the styles for different screen types and cleaning up the layout, this might actually become a usable app. Right now, though, I can’t even browse for five minutes without wanting to chuck my phone out a window.

Super app !

Super bonne application pour apprendre le coréen, à mixer bien sûr avec vos recherches en plus de l’app avec des vidéos YouTube par exemple. N’hésitez pas à chaque jour d’en apprendre un peu plus sur ce qui vous présente pour être complet.

Great app

Great service

LOVE the app, but…

I have been using this app for several months now and I love it! However after an update a few weeks ago I can no longer view the sentence section of lesson summaries. I always add the vocab, grammar, and sentences to my study notebook before doing the actual lesson, but the other day when I went to open the sentence section in the summary for the lesson I’m on it was blank and had a grey rectangle covering most of the screen. I thought it could be just that lesson, but sentence section has the same grey box and is blank for all of the lesson summaries, including ones I’ve completed before. It makes me sad because I always organize my notes the exact same way and don’t want to move on in my learning until I can add the sentences to my notes for my current lesson. I gave it 4 stars still because I really enjoy this app and until now haven’t had any issues. I know bugs happen from time to time so I really hope this gets fixed soon.

unusable glitch :(

there seems to be a glitch where the ‘x’ on ads doesn’t work. even if you swipe off and reload the app you get an ad when starting a lesson and cant press ‘x’. for this reason, the app has become unusable and its very unfortunate because i was really enjoying this app, even after only one lesson. i reinstalled the app and the issue still persists.

please fix :(

Please fix the sound!

Great learning app—awful sound system

Wish I’d known about this one sooner!

Love the app. Love the manageable bite-sized units. Simple, not overloaded explanations I can always refer back to. Really a shame I didn’t know about this before. Probably why I’m writing a review, which I rarely do!

Best App For Learning Korean

I’m only 10 days in but this app is better than any others I have tried learning Korean with, in every way. Very well structured lessons, everything taught is logical, detailed translations and explanations for every word especially for things that are tricky for someone who speaks a very different language to grasp, and more. I would already be fine paying for a service this good but on top of all this, the lessons are free and the ads are minimal. Lingory is leagues above other apps in my opinion

Bug

Please fix. Since the update, it shows that I do not have a membership but I have already paid for a 6 month subscription.

Unreliable

I thought this was the best app to learn Korean—until the screen went blank and was no way to access any data
