Made for beginners but beginners can’t use it
I’m advanced Spanish but like to use apps from time to time to refresh my language. This one would be good for that except it only focused on Spanish from Spain specifically. I don’t need to learn colloquialisms in Spain since I will never go there. Slang from South America would be more helpful.
Anyway, this app does the thing where it chooses a random category that may or may not be relevant to you. Why spend days learning how to talk about food if you don’t know how to greet someone?
It seems to be aimed at beginners but it gives definitions of words in the target language (good for advanced learners) which will force beginners to use resources outside of the app, and ironically they’ll discover those methods are better than the app.
