No way to start for free

App waits for you to fill everything out and then has an unskippable lifetime membership of $10

For what i can tell this is a bug and there should be some functionality for free

Response from developer

Hello, thank you for your review. The behavior outlined is correct. As we generate a custom set of words for a tailored experience, we aren’t able to provide a free service at this time.

Cool concept, false advertising

I was excited about this app, however it seems like the developers overpromise in the App Store. My target language (Hebrew) is listed in the app store images, but I’ve tried multiple times to get English -> Hebrew working and it doesn’t even offer the option. I even found through some pretty serious sleuthing the feedback form on the developer website, and emailed mid last week and have yet to hear back. If you’re learning a less common language this probably isn’t the app for you, regardless of the advertising. If you’re learning a more common language, I’ll leave how well it works up for other reviewers to comment on.

Thanks for writing in, this bug was addressed in the latest update.

Broken update

I got it two weeks ago. Worked ok. I wanted to change the level of the language so I deleted it and wanted to re-add. Brain dead recent update. Can’t figure out how to select English to Chinese and then get it to accept. Wait maybe for another week or two for an update to fix.

Response from developer

This is going to get fixed in tomorrow’s update. Thank you for posting!

Collects too much Information

Safari extensions on iOS to modify website data are required to have access to the website data. This is a separate topic relating to collecting data. This app doesn’t collect the url, rather it modifies the sandboxed webpage from an existing app on the device.

A fun new way for me to learn

I’ve been replacing foods in safari so I can learn how to order Korean food. Can’t wait for more languages!
