10/10 WILL ALWAYS RECOMMEND

Okay so at first I was like UGH why are you so expensive Lingvano but they have BSL & Australian Sign Language and that’s pretty cool! All of their teachers are Deaf. You NEED to learn from native Deaf signers that’s the only way you will become fully immersed. They have an ai feature which at first I was like ehhhh wtf… but honestly it’s pretty mid. And we have facial recognition on a majority of our street lights and lock screens so what’s the diff. The ai feature is super new and only for their finger spelling, it’s not always accurate and like many ai it will validate first before correct you but I’m sure with more exposure to its users it will get better! Uh hm there was something else oh yeah I actually deleted Lingvano for now cause I can’t afford it and I paid for a whole year of asl bloom. I’d say asl bloom would be your go to if you can’t afford Lingvano and you just want to learn asl bloom but even aside from what I mentioned Lingvano is hands down the best app which makes sense as to why it’s so expensive. They have great clear videos with backgrounds that are a solid color and they have awesome lessons I recommend if you have the money get this app

Worth the money

Great app. Really gives you the background of how ASL works as a language and breaks it down into segments that feel like a real education program. It’s kind of frustrating that you have to get 80% in a lesson to move on to the next lesson, but it also is good because it forces you to really learn the content instead of skipping through mindlessly.

Learning sign language made fun

I’ve used other methods of learning sign language and this one is the one that is most fun and really helps me remember what I’m learning. I’ve actually used it for real world communication. I wasn’t perfect but the person was very understanding of my limitations. But we both walked away appreciating each other.

Only had the first 2 lessons for free

I got this app and it had good videos and a good curriculum. But it only let me do the first 2 chapters. I had to pay 20 dollars a month if I wanted to continue.

It’s fun

I’m excited to be learning and being able to show my daughter how to speak sign language.

Paywall

For an app that promotes inclusivity, the fact you have to pay a subscription is ridiculous. 1.7 billion people are hard of hearing, and you want everyone to pay to learn how to better communicate? Go suck on a rock dude

Great learning tool but alittle pricey.

So first I want to say this app is great. It teaches in a way that makes it very easy to retain the information. I learned alot in just the seven day trial. Unfortunately, $20 a month is just a bit too expensive for me. I have moved onto watching free YouTube videos. Now the YouTube videos are harder to learn and actually remember so that’s the price I’m paying.
I think I would keep the app if it was probably about $10 maybe even $12.
But if the price isn’t an issue for you, I highly recommend this.

Happy

I’ve been wanting to do this for so long and communicate with two of my beautiful nieces. I feel hopeful thank you so much.

Great app

Great app but it makes you pay after the 4th lesson

Really good

It is helping me learn sign language, I have wanted to learn for a while and this is THE app that is helping me.

Mas que excelente

Estoy aprendiendo inglés y también ASL y esta aplicación sin duda es la mejor agradecida de que exista

Surprisingly simple

I am an intermediate sign learner and this is my first ASL app. I am self taught so this is very helpful to interpret and see the difference in my knowledge and understanding versus the correct way of signing. Learning more about the grammar differences. ASL is great. I’m excited!

Very helpful but has a trial!

Liked it a lot!! Very helpful to new learners but it has a 7 day trial, meaning it costs money to continue learning after around 3 weeks.

Not free anymore

It’s a great app if you’re able to pay for it.

Lingvano

This has helped me learn sign language so fast and I am now starting to learn these little things that can help me talk with others and family members so thank you so much and I would recommend this app!

AMAZING

AMAZING

Hi

It’s good I just wish it had sound

Great Teachings

This is a lot easier app to learn than the ones I have experienced in the past.

Exceptional

Have been using the app for about 2 weeks and have learned to recognize so many signs. Even my 7 year old grand nephew loved it!

Incredible!

I’ve never bought an app’s subscription but with the few free lessons I could tell how useful and well-structured the app is.
I will do my official BSL L1 course soon and after meeting with a signer who helps run the course, he was impressed that I knew how to sign some things despite being L1.

5 stars, don’t hesitate.
