About

Link Do Work is a to-do list and project planner app for iPhone, iPad, and Mac that connects each finished task to the next one and lets you lay out the path to your goal before you start. Does finishing a task ever really finish the work? You send a report and the revisions come back. A meeting ends and there's cleanup to do. The checkmarks pile up, yet it's hard to tell how close you are to the goal. Link Do Work treats your tasks as a path, not a list. Give each project one goal, then use the design board to connect tasks with lines and lay out the order before you start. When you finish one task, the next one becomes active on its own. If something new comes up along the way, tap the arrow and attach it as the next step right where you are. When something pops into your head, don't stop to decide which project it belongs to. Put it in the Inbox. On iPhone, check off tasks right from Lock Screen and Home Screen widgets, and tap a widget to jump straight to a new task. Anything you find in another app can come in through the Share sheet. Things that come back daily, weekly, or monthly can repeat right from the Inbox. Every task keeps a dated timeline of notes, so you can see later how the work actually went. Each project holds at most three priorities, which keeps today's focus clear. Finished tasks and notes are gathered into a daily or weekly work journal you can copy as Markdown and paste into a report or Notion. Flows you use often can be saved as templates and pulled out when you start a new project. Projects you've finished or set aside go to Archive, where you can look through them anytime and restore them with the full version. You see the same tasks on iPhone, iPad, and Mac. On Mac, the menu bar, ⌘K search, and keyboard shortcuts let you keep your hands on the keys. Sync runs only through your own iCloud. In the app, changes from your other devices show up within seconds. There are no servers, no sign-ups, and nothing is collected. The free version includes one group, one project, and the Inbox. Tasks, notes, repeats, and templates are unlimited. If you need more groups and projects, unlock the full version. No subscription and no sign-up. All you need is your Apple Account. One purchase covers iPhone, iPad, and Mac. It's a to-do app that fits people who feel better with a plan in place, students working through ordered projects like a capstone or a thesis, and developers and planners juggling several projects and AI agents at once.

What's New in Link Do Work

2.0.0

October 31, 2026

The app is now called “Link Do Work: To-Do List.” All features and your data stay the same. Link Do Work 2.0 rebuilds where you write things down and how you finish them. Anything that comes to mind now goes straight into the Inbox, no project needed. On iPhone you can check off tasks from Lock Screen and Home Screen widgets without opening the app, and tapping a widget opens a new task right away. An Inbox card also appears on the iPhone Lock Screen with four tasks per page that you can check off, and you can turn it off in Settings under “Lock Screen card (Inbox).” You can send things from other apps with the Share sheet. Things that come back daily, weekly, or monthly can repeat in the Inbox. The prompt that asked about a follow-up every time you completed a task is gone. Check off what's finished, and tap the arrow only when there's a next step to attach. Give a project a goal and connect tasks on the design board, and the next task activates itself when the one before it is done. Flows you use often can be saved as templates to start a new project or insert after a task. Projects you archive now go to Archive, where you can look through them anytime and restore them with the full version. Every task can hold dated notes, and each project can have up to three priorities. Finished tasks and notes are gathered into a daily or weekly journal you can copy as Markdown. On Mac you get the menu bar, ⌘K search, right-click menus, and keyboard shortcuts. In the app, changes from your other devices appear within seconds. The free version now includes one group, one project, and the Inbox. All of your existing data stays as it is. If you use iPhone, iPad, and Mac together, please update every device to 2.0. This version requires iOS 17 or macOS 14 or later.
