Lions Club Changanacherry

Lions Club Changanacherry is the fulfilment of a dream of a few proactive persons from Changanacherry, and it got materialised on October 10, 1970, when we received the sponsorship from Lions Club Kottayam. Firm and unwavering were those 26 visionaries, and steadfast was the growth of our Club since then. After having received our Charter Certification from the Lions club International, on 23rd January 1971, a Community Hall was able to be constructed in 1977. The Club has been making giant strides in humanitarian needs and close attention to the needs of the less-fortunate was always a priority for our founders - a strong match with our motto, “WE SERVE”. Through several major and minor projects carried out till date, “Lions Club Changanacherry” has now been identified as a dependable and devoted organisation for charity and its members devoted and dedicated. We have been able to leave a perfect credit record in Changanacherry through the footprints we made during the last 54 years in the local area.
