Best Nursing Student App for Clinical Decision Making

Overall great app with concise information on a variety of Diseases and Conditions with Treatments and Interventions. I would have gave it 5/5 but the app freezes when trying to view your favorites.

I hope there’s a big fix soon!

Read the comments

Thankfully I read the comments before subscribing. I am a nursing student who uses LA but need it on my phone. I have no problem paying 25 a year for that. What this lacks is the drug guide. Their drug guide is better than Davis Guide in my opinion. But it doesn’t offer it. ill have to keep utilizing my web browser and trying to click adviser even though its not mobile friendly.

Not enough information for individual users

The app is around 25 dollars for the year. This would be an acceptable price if access to the drug guide was available to use. I’ve paid for a years subscription thinking it would be available and it’s not. Not worth the price for the measly offerings of the individual section of the app.

Won’t let me login

I have lippincott through my school but it won’t let me login

Dont even try

Don’t download this app...save your storage and your data. It doesn’t work !!!!!! It just keeps asking you to update things and for what?? So sad :(

No documents available

I keep getting an alert saying the content is not available and that I need to update everything. I updated everything on the app and it’s still tell me the content isn’t available.

Can’t log in

I’m an institutional user, I have an account that I purchased access to through my textbook/school. I have not been able to log into any mobile versions of the textbook or any resources. I would love to be able to have access to the many references that this app provides but my username and password that work online will not work for this app! Very frustrating!

What happened?

I have had this app for a little over 6 months with no issue. I upgraded my phone from 6s plus to X and the app will no longer open any content. I can still search for diseases and medication, but no content is provided.

Very helpful in the beginning but now very disappointing.

Disappointed

Downloaded the app and it won’t load on my iPhone

Major problems

I’m a nurse educator and i have had a paid subscription to LNA for a few years now. Today it crashes; I deleted it and reinstalled and now it won’t let me restore or purchase it (my subscription renews in a week and it’s on an auto renew). Please fix this glitch- your product is valuable and resourceful, but only if ppl can access what they have paid for.

Crashes way too much

I’d give it 5 starts if it didn’t crash every time it opened. It has really good/useful info. I’d like my money back 😒

Paid $30 and won’t open - DO NOT BUY.

App will not open with the new iOS update. Waste of money. Good content does not matter if you cannot even open the app.

Having a problem

I purchased the full version and the still will not give me full access. I don't know if it's something I'm doing or on their end but very frustrating.

Perfect Nursing App

I've been buying books here and there or trying to find a handy book that I could read as a nurse but most of the books I find are nursing reviews for nclex. Then I tried searching for apps and found this. Love it. I'm reading through it and I see how this is going to come in handy at work or even on my spare time because I'm like that. Lol. It's perfect for me. Well... maybe if a category for medication guide is available too or some sort of medical news update, then it's my perfect one stop app. 😂 But overall I love it. $30 a year is not bad either.

Time saver

I bought this app mainly because my Lippincott account was such a huge pain... I was constantly needing to log back in on safari/google... I will be knee deep in homework and have to log back in... I think its a huge pain! This app however has saved me time and headache and I can get it on my phone as well. Thank you! It would be great had it been able to sync with my account with school... Yet the 30.00 a year is well worth the time I am saving!

Good, but not complete

The interventions do not have rationales, which are often required of students. This is limiting, and kind of annoying for a $30 app. I don't regret the subscription, though. This does contain a lot of information presented in the context of nursing, and is very user-friendly. Cuts the time of care plans down.

Not even a free trial

The free trial only tells you what an MI is? Seriously? My 2 year old knows the definition of an MI. How can I even know if the app is worth buying the subscription for if there is nothing to try out. I have them 2 stars to be nice but I wouldn't even give it 1. Oh and it crashes. It crashed within 22 seconds of trying to figure out what else I can see in the "free trial" as if buying the books & docucare wasn't enough. SMH
