Lisan: Learn Amharic

Lisan is an Amharic learning app for beginners and returning learners. Kito, your guide within the app, introduces each lesson and helps you move through the course at a comfortable pace. During setup, you can select your learning goal and indicate your current familiarity with Amharic. Lisan then recommends a suitable starting path covering everyday conversation, letters, Ethiopian culture, or numbers. Lessons are designed for short study sessions and can be revisited at any time. Audio for the letters, numbers, words, and phrases in the app is recorded by native speakers and reviewed for clarity. WHAT IS INCLUDED • Seven Letter Garden lessons that introduce Fidel one sound at a time. • Four Counting Trail lessons covering numbers from 1 to 20. • Three greeting lessons with polite words and phrases for everyday conversations. • Color Market for learning common color vocabulary. • Animal Trail for listening and vocabulary practice. • Family Picnic, where you arrange words to build a complete Amharic sentence. • 17 lessons with 74 questions in total. Lisan does not display advertising. WHO LISAN IS FOR Lisan is designed for people learning Amharic for family, travel, heritage, everyday conversation, or personal interest. The guided course is suitable for complete beginners as well as learners who would like to refresh their existing Amharic knowledge. LISAN PREMIUM Four starter lessons are available free of charge. Lisan Premium provides access to all learning paths and lessons, listening and practice activities, and future lesson releases available during your subscription. Weekly, monthly, and yearly subscriptions provide the same Premium access. Eligible new subscribers may receive a free three day trial with the yearly plan. Current pricing and trial availability are shown on the purchase screen and may vary by country or region. SUBSCRIPTION INFORMATION Payment will be charged to your Apple ID when you confirm your purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the current subscription period ends. Your Apple ID will be charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel your subscription from your App Store account settings. If you purchase a subscription during a free trial, any unused portion of the trial will be forfeited where applicable.
