Best Audiobook App
I absolutely love lismio! It has some amazing content and you only need a spotify subscription to listen to the audiobooks. The main languages are English, Dutch and German and there are plenty categories to choose from! If you love audiobooks you need this app!
Love the app!
I’ve been using this app for a few months now and I wish I knew about it before! So many great audiobooks and super easy to use. And because I have a Spotify subscription already, they’re free!
Not good like it once was
It’s a shame when an app goes backwards, before it’s rebranding (and possible change of ownership) to Lismio this was a brilliant app. It was easy to use, find things to listen to and was fun - but now a lot of what it finds are German versions, even with my settings set to English, it doesn’t appear to be able to sort books in a choice of orders, so for a series that has countless books you have to scroll through rather than have the most recent at the top. It is more of a chore to use than it is fun trying to find and listen to audio books and is easier just searching directly on Spotify.

Need to be able to change speed
This would be perfect if they can find a way to change the speed of the narration in the in app player!
False advertising
Can not find any titles I like or that are any good very poor amount of books
Very poor.
Very hit and miss if it will load up, plus can’t delete the app.

Please reinstate Apple Music option, this app is now Spotify only

This used to be a great little app for finding audiobooks on Apple Music. However since the update you can no longer chose Apple Music as your partner. Shame.
Love this app
If like me you enjoy listening to a good book. Well, this is the app for you. Links up with Spotify easily. They have a great collection of books. Good job Spooks.
Solid app with more potential
I like that I can have my own library of audiobooks I want to listen. Unfortunately everytime I browse through my filed ones and want to re-read the description of one specific one, I come back to the very start of my list and have to start over scrolling.
Often the books I filed into my library are in the end not available in my country (which I chose in settings). Searching on Spotify directly unveils so many more books and often different versions (uncut) of it.
Sometimes there are disappointing weeks without any new books, but I can’t really believe there’s nothing new on spotify...
So like I said, I like to use the app, but I would be really happy about improvement!
