Why have to sign in all the time
Why not have persistent user account? Have to log in every time I open it.
It never remembers what podcast it played last, or even which podcasts it has ever played. Don’t even ask it to remember the last position on an old episode.
It keeps playing the next oldest podcast episode in my sub feed. Doesn’t stay on the same podcast. Doesn’t just just stop playing. There is no way to define what plays next. No queue.

Good but a bit eh: From one developer to another
Search function not intuitive to find. It’s on a specific page whose icon does not resemble or remind one of a magnifying glass.
Search action doesn’t have a loading icon. Is it doing anything for 15-30 seconds? Doesn’t look like it, until surprise! Meanwhile I was trying to focus on life and got distracted thinking it wasn’t loading. The main reason for this is to facilitate minimal distraction.
When looking through the episode list of a podcast, the release date of each episode is not displayed. Have to go into each episode to check that. Other apps show the date.
This app has a lot of promise. Heck it even has no in-app purchases either, but it’s not as popular as other options. So, of course it’s gonna be a bit laggy. Please fix it though

Maybe a replacement for Google Podcasts?
Although this app seems to be stable and free of annoyance-ware ads for premium features, it failed to import an export of my subscriptions from the Google podcasts app. Other apps had no problem with the same import file. Is it worth moving everything? Idk yet. May report back.

is good for podcasts
but after awhile it will fill up all your gigabytes
also all the good podcasts have a lot of edits and skips that might not be the apps fault probably the platforms ($) are to blame

Cannot figure out how to locate live podcasts.
Could use more controls and offline functionality.
I find the app lacking in abilities to work offline. Cannot remove downloads or schedule listening order.

I liked this app then you forced me to an update that has no search feature so I can’t find the podcasts I want. How can you have no search?

Was always bouncing from different platforms or apps for podcasts and this my favorite, consistent, and now only one I enjoying using on the daily.
Feedback: Episode Dates
I was searching for a new podcast player with the following features: does not track user data; playback speed of 1.75 (1.7 is too slow, 1.8 is too fast); threadbare UI with minimal graphics.
At first pass, the Listen App might be my new podcast player. My only request involves the episode list view. I am lost without readily visible episode dates. If you replace “See details” with the episode date, the click for additional details sentiment might come intuitively. Thank you!

Doesn't work with Airpods
This is the perfect podcast app, with one exception - it doesn't work with Airpods. When using Airpods, if you're listening to a podcast and, say, walking directions, when the podcast app is interrupted, it just stops the audio. Otherwise, I love this app! It has a simple, sleek interface that's easier to use and less noisey than most other podcast apps. If you fix this bug, you've got a five-star app!

Freezing
App continually freezes on my ipad
Why do you need my phone number to even look at your stinking app?
Didn't even get to open it to try it out. How do apps get a 4+ rating when you need contact info to use it? 18+ should be required.

Thank you for the feedback. We went ahead and rebuilt the application to no longer require accounts to use the player! You only need an account to participate in live events. Enjoy!
Beautiful podcast app
My favorite podcast app by far. Very intuitive and easy to use. You can swipe right and easily access helpful options on each episode. Looking forward to the events feautre!
Really innovative and operationally smooth app
I recently started listening to podcasts with the Listen App and I love the features it offers that other podcast apps don’t, specifically live events. Live events allows you to have multiple speakers and audience members together with the option for anyone, including the audience, to raise their hand and chime in on a conversation or ask a question, the host decides who talks. I love this format and it’s very useful in a professional or casual setting. Would definitely recommend this to a friend!
