Great list building app

Great app, cheap subscription to have unlimited list. Use it with every match to record my win loss ratio.

Lost limit makes this awful

Overall the apps UI is pretty good. List building is nicer compared to new recruit. However the limit of creating 6 lists per month makes the app almost unusable. Was a perfect 5 stars before this was implemented

Great list building app

Only complaint is I have to reinstall the application on my computer in order for it to work each update.

Amazing

Love this app, keep up the great work!

Always improving

Dear listforge dev: it’s okay to take a day off every now and then.

Seriously though, the app is amazing and constantly getting better. Nice work. Now go take a vacation.

The best list builder out there

Just when I thought it couldn’t get better, it gets game scoring built in. Great design, responsive developer, always adding new features. Better than the official list builder by a mile.

Used to be great, but developers got greedy

Not only did they change the amount of lists you can have for free to 6, they put a monthly limit too. And that’s for a client-side app that uses community GitHub repos.

The Best Companion App

Just had to write a review as this app doesn’t get the credit it deserves.
Most apps are just list builders but are awful to actually play the game with. The game mode on ListForge is absolutely amazing and makes piloting your army intuitive.
It is also the only app that doesn’t make your eyes bleed, very modern and sleek UI that just makes sense.

Garbage Change

This WAS an absolutely great listbuilding app. You could either subscribe to create more than the free 6 lists allowed, or watch an ad to able to create a new list beyond your first 6.

I updated the app, and now all but 6 of my lists have been locked to “view only” and can no longer be edited. Didn’t even get a choice in which lists become locked; the app randomly chose for me. Apparently the developer decided to do a rugpull and retroactively make it so no, you don’t have options anymore in how you support the app. Pay or be restricted to only 6 lists. Shameful, greedy behavior.

Good app, bad restriction

App is fantastic but they restricted list making/game playing to 6 max. This means I cant change some of my crusade armies AND have 2k lists. Extremely sucks and will be looking for something else

Terrible now

Used to be we got 5 or 6 free list and could watch a commercial to add another one to that list. Now you have to pay to add more lists. Wouldn’t bother with this any more.

Fantastic for 40K Warhammer

This app will not only improve how you build your list but also how you play when at the tabletop

Within a few minutes you will be list crafting with ease. Having easy access to all the options and data sheets makes list building effortless and fun

When actually playing a game, switch the interface into play mode and have all your rules, data sheets and stratagems at your fingertips.

Also the verses mode allows you to sanity check your opponents rules, just in case you feel one of their claims is ever so slightly too good to be true!

Actually love this

Super easy and accessible. Able to see my strategems and army rules extremely well. Very well done

Developer listens to feedback

Previously I wrote a 3 Star review stating the app was great but was going in the wrong direction specifically relating to requiring a subscription to have more than 6 lists. Now the app offers the ability to add a list in exchange for watching an ad. They gotta make their money, much preferred to watching an ad vs spending money on a subscription in a world where everything is a subscription.

I appreciate the developer allowing this other option and List forge is now again my preferred list builder of choice.

The Best 40k App

Listforge is the best app to use to build 40k rosters. No competition.

Great app

This app is amazing. Has up to date stuff and the UI is spartan but a great spartan. It’s very easy to build lists and see stats and all.

Great app poor direction

Very good app in terms functionality. Adds new info quickly and has a great game play screen.

Only issue is they started charging for more than 6 lists which is cheaper and more free lists than GW but overall leaves a bad taste in the mouth. New recruit goes off tips and banner ads to make it worth it to the creator and they are just as good as this app.

Just a matter of time until GW sends a C&D for direct profiting off their rules.

Again great app, poor direction.

Clean and easy to read

Really useful hope there’s a way to add the rules for boarding actions though. Also hoping Star Wars legion gets added when the new edition is out.

Came for the DG

Staying so far for the smooth functioning

Best List Builder

Got this app from Reddit after seeing no other list builder had DG support, and amazingly this one did!
It is super clean and simple with no useless fluff or constant clicking in and out of pages. I’m using this with the new recruit printouts from now on.
