Hello Joey, Thanks for the honest review. With so many scams out there, you are 100% right to be cautious about where you put any kind of digital key or credential. The biggest thing to know right off the bat: you never need a credit card attached. Google AI Studio provides a free Gemini API key that doesn't require any billing or payment info. Because there is no credit card linked to that account, it is impossible for anyone to spend your money or charge you unexpected fees. If you ever hit Google's free daily limit, it simply stops working until tomorrow. Just as importantly, we never actually receive, see, or store your key. There is no middleman server of ours collecting them. Your key is stored strictly on your own phone in Apple's encrypted Keychain, and your device talks straight to Google. And if you make a brand new project in Google AI Studio, there are zero personal files or existing projects for anyone to access. We chose this BYOK setup specifically so everyday eBay sellers could use powerful AI listing features for free without having to buy expensive monthly subscriptions or marked-up AI tokens. My goal was simply to share a helpful tool I built for myself with other sellers who also need it. I completely respect your decision to not provide your API key, but if you ever feel comfortable grabbing a free key with no card attached, we'd love for you to give ListIt a spin. It uses Gemini which i prefer over chatgpt. The results are very accurate.
