Speed more than word game
I really enjoy word puzzles and I don’t necessarily need to take my sweet time about it but I found this game somewhat annoying after a short time. Tutorial is a bit rudimentary: you can use letters in any order or sequence but they don’t really explain that. I didn’t have trouble passing levels, scooted right along every one I tried. The problem is I enjoy finding words and patterns and all that but the timer element makes any typo or mistake a hard LOSS and therefore a different vibe. I want to think not stress. I imagine there’s smarter folks out there that can bust out massive words using all the available letters at a rapid pace but what I found was the game basically motivates you to think smaller. Why waste the extra second seeing if I have enough letters for ‘anaphylaxis’ when I’d be better off busting LAX, PAN, LAPIS, HAY, etc and keeping more options open? Perhaps I’m just slow but going off past experience I’m really not (in this one particular aspect of existence anyway).

Not all the challenges can be achieved which is annoying. Developers are aware of these errors and have yet to do anything about it. Lame
Fantastic new game!
This is a rare find: really fun gameplay, very simple yet challenging for someone who has played all the major word games. No ads, nice interface. Brilliant!

Game is great, but an odd bug
I’ve noticed that everytime I get a word, the whole grid gets bigger and then falls back down to the screen, and the tiles all glitch a little. For some reason this has only started happening since I updated to ios17. Other than that, it’s pretty a pretty good game

Played all 200 levels. Was a great stress reliever.
Enjoyed aiming for 3 stars before moving on. Also appreciated there were no ads or gimicks to distract from the purpose of the game. Helped me relax when I just needed a brain challenge, but was physically tired. Perfect to play while trying to fill asleep to keep my mind busy and just breathe.

Fun way to pass time
Really entertaining for passing time. I like that there’s a limited number of achievements, but then I also enjoyed it so much that I’m sad I finished them all. Wish there was random achievements to attempt when doing practice or rush mode so I’d continue to feel motivated to play after finishing story mode. But otherwise, still love it.

Bug from translation?
TO DEVELOPER: When I get pretty far is there is a character that shows up that looks like a circle with a line underneath it. It doesn’t work with any English words so I wonder if it’s leftover from the previous non-English version? Or did I miss what that character is supposed to do? (It looks like a lollipop with a very short stick)

Nauseating
Why are the letters constantly pulsing. It’s annoying and nauseating. It adds nothing to the game other than to be off putting.

this is an awesome word game, simple but really fun, lots of levels to complete and challenges to do. also not many ads which is really nice. thanks to whoever made this game- I’ve already spent a lot of time playing it and it’s quite relaxing too :)
Needs to update its dictionary.
If doesn’t have words such as receipt, recipe. It tried to say that the work “token” wasn’t in its vocabulary.

Missed opportunity
Missed opportunity to call the game Literally - a name game

unique concept, this game is very enjoyable as it puts you under pressure to think of words you might not even know existed - i also like how there's an "easy mode" that you can enable

Super Fun!
Fun and challenging game with just enough pressure to keep you on your toes. You can tell the developer put a lot of thought into the design. There’s also a sweet “celebration” after completing all of the games.

As a literature major, I’m blowing through this game with 150-200+ words per game. That being said, it isn’t properly tracking my statistics or unlocking missions based on my used words. There’s also a section in my menu that is fully not in English (perhaps Russian? just a guess) I think this has potential to be a great game if you work out some of the kinks!
