Great Interactive Story for Older Readers or Adults
I'm am adult who love interactive stories and I loved that this one was more mature, both in graphics and story. I loved the art works too.

Absolutely amazing graphics, story and narrative voice! This might seriously be the best looking interactive book I've seen on iOS. The story is also very fun to follow along in. Great stuff!
Do not update
This was the best book in my library until the update . Now it will not play , it starts and then the app shuts down before you see the first page . So sad so mad , darn you itbook updaters
Doesn't open
It takes forever to load, then doesn't open. I haven't been able to use it and I paid for it. 0 stars.

So fun
This is written and illustrated very well. Would not recommend for young children, but would be fun for an older child who knows the original story. Also seeing the Extras, with story sketches was really interesting. Very creative. Would recommend.
Almost Perfect: Teacher Recommended
The vocabulary was a bit advance for my first grade class but with the fun, interactive, and entertaining graphics my students were more than able to get the gist of it and to use it to compare to the original folk-tale.

Disappointed
Deeply disappointed. The concept was interesting however it ended so abruptly i was searching the app for more. I wanted and expected a more developed story! I would greatly appreciate a refund for this was not worth three dollars.

My daughter and I absolutely love this kind of story, and the level of interactivity. Wish there was more like it!
Gorgeous Story
The illustrations in this book are absolutely amazing. The sound effects and storytelling are great as well. I enjoyed the interaction of the story, however the writing was pretty shaky in some parts. Words were very repetitive in some places and there was a word error in another. If it weren't for the writing (an important part of a book...) it would have been 5 stars.

Semi interactive story book
Very disappointed in the app..short story with very limited user interaction. You pay for the pretty visuals. Not worth the price IMHO.

This is a beautifully done story based on LRRH. The illustrations are delightful and the story is well done.
I was rather disappointed though.. for the price tag ($2.99), this seemed very short and not nearly as interactive as I thought it could be. The music should flow through each segment instead of cutting off abruptly. There was only one transition where the music did so. The interactive segments are limited - if this an app geared for a very young audience (3-6year), that would be understandable. The type of graphics used here though suggest a slightly older youth audience, in which case they're not going to be entertained long and there's no real reason to go through the app a second time.
I understand it's supposed to be a book and not a game, but I'm still disappointed and wouldn't have bought the app if I had known how short and limited it would be. There's a lot of potential here.. reminds me of the app Grimm, though not as fine tuned or expansive.

Can I say..
TO SHORT. and nothing really so new to the story. Sure the pages are ok in that they do react somewhat..artwork is very good. This "book" is finished in 15 minutes. Is it worth YOUR 2.99? I think not...
It's an interactive book
My mistake, thought this was a game. Imagine how disappointed I am. Took about 5 minutes to read and now I'm out $2.99! Can I please have a refund?.
