A BETTER LOOKING OCEAN • Hand-traced granite replaces every rock in the game. • The moray eel got a full redraw and a proper boulder lair to strike from. • Shore waves grow as they roll in, curl over, and wash out before the sand. • Tide pools worn into the seabed, disturbed sand around every rock and resting turtle, and flipper tracks pressed into the beach behind you. ON THE SAND • Walking on land slowly gives your energy meter back, so a long beach is a rest. Sprint on sand and you'll still burn it down — just slower, because you're getting some back as you go. UNDER THE HOOD • Quicker level starts, steadier frame rate deep into a crossing, and less memory held while you play.
