Little Howl is a quiet companion for your everyday walks.
A small watercolor puppy lives in a cozy room on your phone. They breathe, blink, wag their tail, wander across the room and curl up on their bed for a nap. When you walk in real life, your dog sets off on an adventure of their own, around the neighborhood and off to the park, and comes home with something they found: a blue feather, a pine cone, a little treasure to keep.
THE ROOM
- A hand-painted room that follows the real sun, from morning light to a sleepy night
- Real weather and the seasons outside the window, if you want them
- Feed your dog and watch them walk over to the bowl, or play and watch them go find their toy
- Pet them whenever you like; small moments and visitors at the window make each day a little different
- Soft sounds of the room, only while you're there to hear them
- Decorate with the things you find together
ADVENTURES
- Your daily steps from Apple Health become your dog's walk
- Short walks, long walks, every walk counts
- Seasonal finds that change through the year
MEMORIES
- A memory book that fills with the small moments you share
- A walk diary, one gentle line a day, no charts and no streaks
- A collection shelf for everything your dog brings home
GENTLE BY DESIGN
- Your dog never gets sick, sad or angry with you, and is always happy to see you come back
- No ads, no account, no currency
- Your data stays on your device and in your own iCloud
- Home Screen widget and Lock Screen walk updates
LITTLE HOWL PLUS (optional)
Everything your dog needs is free, always. Plus is a way to support Little Howl and open a little more of the world:
- New places to wander, starting with the backyard
- Seasonal stories through the year, with their own finds and memories
- Special things for your dog to wear
- A letter from your dog every Sunday
- Your own words and photos in the memory book, and a book of each year together
What your dog receives with Plus stays with them, even if Plus ends.
Plus comes as a yearly subscription with a free week to try, or as a one-time Lifetime purchase. The yearly plan renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the period; you can manage or cancel it anytime in your Apple Account settings.
LITTLE THINGS TO DECORATE
A few decorations can also be bought one at a time, outside Plus: Cherry Bandana, Red Beret, String Lights, Lemon Tree, Wicker Basket Bed and a Little Portrait. Buy once, keep forever.
Little Howl reads only your daily step count from Apple Health. It never writes to Health, and the app works fully if you choose not to share steps.
