Thanks Chris, please keep us posted on your experience with the app! We're always available at support@kaiterra.com.

Laser EGG devices settings not available

We are living in 5G and they are still stuck to 2.4G. Even after changing the network settings not available

Many problems

App is very hard to read on a phone. I’m sure it looks great on your development device but the text is too small on a phone. My device is always shown as “currently unreachable” in the Live Air app. This leaves me without the ability to move the device to a new wifi network without a complete reset and loss of data.

Illegible graphs!

Fonts are MUCH too small and colors of text have much too little contrast. And axis minimums are poorly chosen with y range so large that you can’t even see variations in temperature and other parameters. So graphs are useless. App have been updated since 2019.

Where is update?

Where is app update, now device useless

Always ask to add home

App cannot read existing home from apple home app. it seems like developer abandoned the app.

Wi-Fi connection

Kaiterra can only add once to configure, can’t even connect with in the same wifi after reconnect. So stupid. The Only way to connect again is delete the device and add back in again.

Reset every time for reconnect

Can’t reconnect to Laser Egg 2 plus, have to remove from HomeKit then add again.

不錯,還能連上鐳豆1代

其它的app都連不上,只有這個可以。

Does not pair with laser egg

Tried everything. Restarting. Factory reset. Uninstalling and reinstalling the app. Nothing work. This is straight useless atm. Hire a swift coder to update this hot piece of garbage. Hmu for a job. I’ll fix this.

useful but

The Laser Egg is a good product and this app is ok. But the axis tic labels on the graphs are almost illegibly faint and small.

Can’t get it to work

The egg itself turns on, but I can’t get the app to work. It says it has to connect to HOME but it never does.
There is no place for me to troubleshoot.
Frustrated as this was an expensive TECH device.

软件能否添加重启功能,设备经常死机

设备经常死机,能不能在软件端添加个(定时)自动重启功能

Does not support Sensedge Mini

This app does not support Sensedge Mini so it is kind of useless for those who purchased mini’s. I’ll update review when they add support to it.

When will you support iOS widget?

When will you support iOS widget? I would like to view the air quality directly from my home screen or zero page

TINY text, few alarms and show TIME of data updates prominently!

Dear developers, a good start but... 1⃣ the Egg device makes no noise, no audible alarms, ever? Really?? 2⃣The app does allow ONE alarm/notification per sensor but why just one?? I'd like to be told when any of several thresholds are crossed. That's not hard to implement. 3⃣Why the miniscule fonts? 4⃣Auto-brightness/dimming on the Egg display PLEASE 🙏 5⃣This is a data-driven app where timeliness of the data is a huge factor. So, for the love of god, show the last updated time PROMINENTLY right next to where a measurement is shown! The first question to answer for users: "Is this data FRESH?" Thank you.

Weak app, unreliable TVOC sensor

It’s difficult to review the app without also reviewing the Laser Egg, and vice versa.

Strengths

Simple setup and pairing with Laser Egg
Straightforward navigation between AQI, PM2.5, and TVOC readings

Weaknesses

Not much value in HomeKit integration for Air Quality (which displays only a reading such as “fair” rather than an actual sensor reading)
AQI algorithms on device are different from AQI standards in the app (e.g. the app offers “Australia “ but this isn’t available on the Laser Egg itself)
Main app screen shows the highest of either AQI or TVOC. You can’t choose what it shows by default
Historical data for Minutes only goes back three hours
Historical data for Hours only goes back 24 hours
Historical data for Months only available for 30 days
No ability to see individual values of any readings
TVOC sensor may not be reliable. Sometimes gives wildly improbable high readings that sometimes magically go away after rebooting Laser Egg. It is theoretically calibrated to the GB50325-2010 - China’s national standard for civil engineering indoor environmental pollution control. There’s no way of changing the TVOC calibration scale

On the bright side: Support is responsive and detail-oriented! My TVOC was spiking periodically. This problem went away after contacting them, although they were a little opaque as to what actually needed to be fixed (or how it was fixed).

At the very minimum, I appreciate the PM2.5 readings, which seem to correspond to other AQI sensors in my neighborhood. I live in an area with occasionally-heavy wildfire smoke. Knowing whether my house air is clean is reassuring.

Time to make an iPad version!

The app is ok, needs an iPad version.

Does not reliably connect to sensor

After many restarts, might connect, but forgets everything after a few days.
