Unusable
The setting button disappeared, so now I cannot even attempt to connect. Also needs clear instructions. I had to dig through YouTube to finally find a helpful video because I couldn’t find help on the show express website and it’s not obvious how to connect the app to the lighting setup.
Serves purpose but...
Serves purpose but desperately needs an update.. it does not offer a full screen on iPad and I find the app to not operate smoothly. It often crashes or loses connectivity.

Live Mobile for ShowXpress is so functional for operating equipment and multi-tasking when running solo or testing light shows. Desperately need an update for the App to continue using it. It’s been difficult since the last iOS update. 🙏

Great app! Stopped working with 11.1. Help???
I depend on this app every week for production since I have no help in my booth. The interface is flawless but I am getting notifications this app will not work on ios11 if not updated to 64bit. Please think about updating the app & software. It really works great on the ipad for a touchscreen interface. The windows version had so many device driver crashes but the mac & ios have been rock solid!

Can you please update the app to work with the most recent version of IOS? I love this app but I keep getting an error saying the developer needs to update the app.
There's no preference/settings option.

For people saying they can't configure the IP address, read carefully at the message displayed on the phone screen, which clearly says "please enter the IP of the computer in "Settings" meaning go to your phone settings find the app click and you'll see the Live IP computer option

I downloaded this to find out it is the same as the phone app, offering only a 2x instead of being optimized to run on an iPad. We have huge screens.....lets use them, pretty disappointed in the app.

Everyone saying it doesn't work, go to settings On Your Phone, scroll down, click on the app, then enter IP address. After this it should work.
Fantastic App - requires some thinking for setup
I've been using this app for two years and it gets the job done. It's even easier to use with the updated showXpress software. This is the goto controller for my job in the USAF Band -- and we've put together some incredible light shows with it.
In order for it to work properly you have to have ShowXpress on your PC or Mac (go to Chauvet website). In the "live" application (on your computer) you have to click on the "visible in external App". Then go to the lighting control settings to access the IP address. In your iPhone settings, scroll down to the "live mobile" app and input the IP address. Open app, good to go!
