Not in its prime
I’ve been using this app for literal years, since I was thirteen. It’s now glitching, randomly deleting my creations and you can no longer earn stars at all. It feels abandoned and obsolete. Barely playable now
It's good for those who aren't clumsy lol
I really like this app, but, me being comically clumsy, accidentally "updated" another character when I meant to "load" it and I couldn't find a way to get the character back, and I completely lost that character. It would really be nice if there was an undo option.
(Edit: came back to download this app after a month and it happened again lol, this time I didn't even realize it until a couple days after. Maybe don't put those buttons so close together or maybe make an undo option, please.)

Love it.

Ok it’s good in a way but I do have a question why the girl version of live portrait has more than this guy live portrait? This guy portrait needs more stuff, like it’s fun to play but ya definitely need more stuff

Amazing
The format is very intelligent and it makes creativity and originality easy, which is a must for character making apps. I haven’t seen a better one than this! Their are already a lot of options, but it’d be cool if their were MORE (for both versions). Like maybe full body option, more lip shapes, the option to put multiple birth marks, more hair! It’s just so cool it should be milked to it’s full potential 😌💕💪🏻

Best app
When I’m doing the characters skin colours and I save it and when I did another’s character with a different skin colour and save that character 2 they turn out to have the same skin colour
Not enough diverse hair options
Love this game but there are two issues.When you are making a character and go to the hair section there are not enough (or any!)options for curly hair, braids and dreads. Also when you darken the skin on your character it doesn’t look quite right. Overall good game but please fix this.

Great app but..
I love the app so much it’s so good but when it comes to matching the eyebrows with the hair color it’s a little hard so maybe a future update you could add more accessories, face accessories, and a copy and paste button ty!

I’ve been playing around w this app for a few years here and there, it’s been nice. But for some reason, it’s been running really really slow recently. My phone is a newer model, idk why everything loads like a snail :( I still do like the app nonetheless. Sure it’s bones compared to the girl version, but it’s still fun to open up and make a bunch of funky characters. Its fun playing around with the saturation and accessories. Just wish it would load so I could play… haha …ha..

there’s a bug
major downside for both the male and female version is the limited options to make black characters. there is no coiled hair options and the dark skin doesn’t look good on the avatar. there's also a bug that doesn’t save a specific avatar’s designs. other than that its a nice app. it could be better if there is more diversity.

Characters are stunning, but I wish the app was more useful
This app creates beautiful characters, and offers you a lot of flexibility to create a variety of stunning characters. However, I wish it was a little more useful. I’m not looking to create an avatar, but I really wanted to use this app as inspiration for designing characters. It has potential to be very useful for this purpose, because you can just try on different features on the character to see what they would look like. The only thing that I think this app could improve at is that it only shows the avatar from a front view, and I really wish it would also give us the option to switch to different angles. It would help me so much with character design if I could view the character from not only the front view, but also profile view, 3/4 view, and maybe even more advanced angles like from below & from above. This app creates such beautiful character portraits, and it would be my go-to app for character inspiration if only we had the option to view the characters that we design from more angles.
