User reviews

You gonna like this.

Stoned user-friendly! Pick your decade(s)! Basically it shuffles everything man. I am also a fan of the Live Music app. But I was hoping for this feature. The Grateful Dead never played the same song twice.

You complete me

It’s a must have app for fans of jam bands. Such a quality concept, well thought out and is continually improving it, thank you for this app!

Live Music Lovers!!! This is the one!!

Especially with barely any shows going on right now, this app will save your day. Pick all your favorite bands and randomly get a live song from a show including tuning and encore crowd that always makes me smile taking me back to being at a show. Austin adds bands every week and he knows what he is doing. He’s open for band suggestions as well on Twitter. This app alone gets me through my 8 hour work day. Highly recommend

Updated at request of developer:
You’re logging IP addresses and not providing that in your privacy label. Please open source so I can add features such as persistence for settings, and contact you about privacy issues. Note: it’s against Apple policies to pressure users into any review process.

Response from developer

Edit: because I don’t store these ip addresses at all, and only the 1500 most recent requests between iOS, Android, and the web beta combined are available at a time, and the logs expire after a short period of time as it is, plus I don’t look at them at all, let alone share them with any sort of advertiser, I was under the impression that I didn’t have to disclose the brief IP logging, according to Apple’s data collection disclosure guidelines. Believe it or not, I started working on the settings persistence features immediately after I pushed the previous update, and am hoping to have that live within a few days. At the current moment, I’m still learning about open-sourcing my app, and at the moment am still trying to clean some of the older spaghetti code up, which is slowly but surely happening, before I decide to open source it. Perhaps if you have experience with working with open source projects, you wouldn’t mind reaching out to me, as I might be able to learn a thing or two if that’s the case. Thank you for updating your comment, and for your time and your concern, and I hope to hear from you soon. Just so you don’t have to dig through the comment again, the email is liveshufflemusic@gmail.com Original: There are a couple of issues with that, though I have plans to upgrade the app in the near future. 1) I never intended to replace Relisten, though I do want folks to be able to search for a specific show eventually, the purpose of the app is to be different from Relisten or Attics or Taper’s Section or any app that serves more as a library. 2) The database isn’t robust enough to look for specific shows at the moment. I just graduated college and started a new job, and upgrading the database is going to cost me a bit more money each month. As soon as I upgrade the database, I already have some scripts written to add the data that would be necessary for these features. Waiting on my first paycheck to do that, though. I would like to kindly ask that you consider amending your review, and that if you would like to help out when I open source it, to send me a message either via email to liveshufflemusic@gmail.com, or to u/aboston12 on Reddit. I already have a discord server running to discuss the project. Thank you for your time, and for your feedback, and I hope to hear from you soon. -Austin

Great app
