Does Not Work
Being a network engineer with 30 plus years of computer work I usually can figure out how to get stuff to work. Not only did this app not work but the very poorly written help files provided zero real help. Waste of money and time. Un-installed want a refund.
Say no and use OBS studios instead
I have both of the highest quality, GoPro cameras, the hero 12 and GoPro max 360. This app seems to connect to my GoPro 360 fine but does not connect so well with the hero 12 so I returned the 12 thinking it was the issue and got another 12 and it still would not connect, if you’re looking to live stream off of a platform like twitch, YouTube, and any other streaming platforms this isn’t the app for you. This only allows you to capture footage, but still has a bunch of bugs. GoPro offers a easy to find video and tutorial. This app doesn’t provide any of that the most important part it it doesn’t connect to your Wi-Fi it just connects to your Bluetooth well for me it doesn’t. Highly recommend using OBS Studios, if you’re looking to stream seriously. And don’t feel like you can’t get your money back. You can ask Apple for a refund if you feel scammed like this app did to me.

Super! Ein Knopfdruck und die GoPro startet den Stream. Mit der Originalen ab wird man wahnsinnig. Bin gespannt wie es sich beim irl Einsatz macht.
Live mode works, but it won't stream
I have tried everything. Bluetooth connects fine. I have checked my Wifi, everything is supposed to work. But the app can't successfully connect to my Hero8, so the livestream is useless for me.
Besser als die originale App
Mit der originalen App hatte ich immer wieder Abbrüche und die Kamera hat sich nach ein paar Minuten dazu entschieden den stream(über RTMP) zu beenden. Länger als 1 Stunde am Stück streamen war nicht möglich.
Mit dieser App habe ich gestern 6 Stunden am Stück (!) gestreamt. Meine erste Bewertung hier aber die App hat es verdient!!!

constant problems with network errors
very unstable on mac. perfect on win 10. on mac it stops stream after 5 seconds.

Thanks for your feedback. If the stream stops after about 5 seconds then this indicates that the camera has problems with connecting to the RTMP server.
A for Effort…
But it won’t connect to my iPhones hotspot rendering this app useless :(

Garbage
This app is trash. When you click "add a camera" you get a screen filled with you gibberish. Requesting a refund.

The app works perfectly fine. Have you properly paired your camera (https://www.toolsforgopro.com/cameratools_help)? You can also always drop me a line if you have problems.
Can’t get the app to work and getting no support from them.
I have a hero 6 and bought this app to hook up to Team Manager to stream my son’s baseball games. When I search for GoPro it only comes up with one camera selection. I was never able to get to work. All the other camera’s are a code and their is no list of what they mean. Contacted support they asked me for my iOS version and GoPro version and that was it. Crickets now.

Thanks for your feedback. Only Hero 7 Black Edition and newer GoPro models have a live mode (as described in the app's description).
Indispensable app for live streaming events
This app is brilliant! If you are live streaming an event you can quickly and easily setup your GoPros to connect to your wifi and RTMP server with a few clicks rather than having to navigate through the GoPro Quik app one camera at a time.
Then after replacing dead batteries it's just a click to get going again.
I'm using this app with 2 GoPro Hero 9's, monaserver and OBS. Some tips: 2.4G works best, your router needs to have an internet connection(GoPro issue).

Useless for me / Für mich nutzlos.
I don’t have any WiFi Networks in the middle of nowhere. Why is it impossible to use my built in Hotspot? The GoPro App itself can handle that.

Did not work
I tried it multiple times, but my GoPro 8 Hero did not apear in the device list. So this did not work for me.
so much better than the offical app!
if you're looking at.setting up streaming and want to avoid messing around with the GoPro app just get this mac app. make life so much easier.

Big improvement from the GoPro Quik app
I am really happy this app exists as an alternative to the GoPro app. This app provides common sense features that should have been provided by GoPro. I look forward to further development.
