Credit Card Fraud Scheme. Buyer Beware.
I made a resume once and was fine paying the $25 one time. I tried canceling the subscription according to the cancellation policy the following month. They did not respond but charged me another $25. I tried again the next month, no response, but another $25 charge. Repeat for 3 more months of trying and trying to cancel the subscription only for it to charge me every month. So that’s 6 charges, 5 of which are fraudulent. I requested they delete my PII from their servers, which is protected in my state. They ignored that.
I reported them to the FTC and filed a complaint with the Colorado Attorney General’s office for violating the Colorado Privacy Act. They responded by now charging me $25 every WEEK.
Now I’m submitting all of this to Apple with my evidence to get their app ripped off the App Store so nobody else will be victimized by these criminals.

LiveCareer is awesome!
LiveCareer is extremely effective service to use. My old resume was not up to par as I would not get nearly as much attention from careers but was not congruent with my skills , accomplishments or experience. After using the live career which bolstered my resume pretty substantially I was getting noticed by 2-3x the employers and had several offers and interviews. I landed the exact job I wanted because of the adjustment I made with LiveCareer I’m very grateful and I highly recommend for anyone trying to get an edge on the competition and get an edge in the marketplace

Resume unavailable
The coolest part about Live Careers is building the resume and paying a fee to no longer have access to said resume. It doesn’t automatically save either. Bonus: you get to build it for a second time. Wash. Rinse. Repeat.

The app won’t let u email text nothing so u can print out your resume made me spend 24.99 when I didn’t even sign up for a subscription I wanted to use it once for a 4 dollar fee but comes to fined out they steal your money stay away from this app

Good product but overpriced
I thought I was paying only $3.00 for my resume. In reality I was paying $3.00 and more than $23.00 a month after that. Very misleading and overpriced. I found it difficult to unsubscribe once I realized they were charging me so much.

I used this to spice up my resume. Which was nice and worked well. And I graciously paid the 99 cents or whatever well they charged me for the subscription 24.95 and when I called to try to get a refund they wouldn’t give me a full refund even though they were already offering me one month free anyways but would only give me 12 dollars back! I didn’t even use your software but the one time. The point was I’m trying to get a job so I can make money not so I can be charged more for something I didn’t use or need!!! Crap!

You pay 2 dollars to save your resume to your computer or phone, come to find out it doesn’t actually look like what you wanted it to look like.. then you go on your merry way and look back at your bank account and see “LiveCareer” charging you $25 every month without notifying you. I’m sorry but your services are NOT worth that kind of money. Plus they make it almost impossible for you to figure out how to cancel this subscription.

Build great resume plus tailor it to each open job on the site!!!!!
I thought i was simply subscribing to a resume writing service, but boy have I been pleasantly surprised ! They will even recommend jobs matching your resume and then help you tailor it plus create the tailored cover letter ! They have an autofill feature which helps save a bit of time when filling out applications , which can be time consuming and redundant ! They also have jobs on their site that I’m not finding on the major job hunt sites plus most of the jobs from those sites. Those sites can get stale after 2 months of the same stuff...I now come here first to start my job hunt every day . Only downside is that I cannot name my resume myself. Have to use their numbering system. Still figuring out how to delete older versions that I created in error. I feel like a commercial , but I am so glad I found this site. I have already recommended it to my friend who is also looking . They have certainly differentiated themselves as an all in one place for people like me in the competitive job market. I have improved my resume score tremendously from 30% to 75%. Worth the money.

Website is great. App is lacking.
The fact u can’t edit your existing resume on the app or on the web version from your phone is pretty frustrating if you don’t have internet at your house.

While this new feature will allow you to make edits to your resume without internet connection within the app, those changes will not be saved to your account until you regain connection.
