WARNING WARNING WARNING!!!!!
I am a widely published technology journalist and author who has reviewed hundreds of Apple products. While checking out LiveLoc on my old and faithful iPad running iPadOS 16.7.15, I found the interface so un-Apple-ish that I decided to read the reviews in the App Store. As the App Store was already open, I double-pressed the home button to get there. Much to my surprise, my double-press on the home button within LiveLoc was instantly sent to Apple Pay (which was NOT open at that time), and a message immediately appeared thanking me for subscribing to LiveLoc for one year at $34.99. After verifying that this theft had actually occurred, I then reported the theft to Apple.
Caveat: It is possible that the malware in this app was inserted without the developer’s knowledge.

We’re sorry for your experience. LiveLoc offers free features as well as optional premium services. All subscription and billing information is clearly displayed before any purchase, and charges are only processed after user confirmation through Apple.

Hi, We’re sorry for the confusion. The app does not track people without their consent and requires proper setup between users. For a refund, please submit your request directly through your Apple account, as all payments and refunds are handled by Apple.
