Just ok
I think this app could be so much improved.
I really wanted just to be able to do flashcards as needed but there’s a whole process, you can’t just easily go from one to another, there’s too much music and transitions between screens, too many choices to be made and it just seems to take too long for everything. On a school caseload, things need to be much more efficient.
I’m kind of bummed and I guess I’ll just be using my regular lively letter letter cards instead.

Waste of Money
Not interactive, not engaging and the sound doesn’t even work. I want my money back.
Overpriced and outdated
This app is overpriced and outdated. The sound doesn’t work. It is not engaging or educationally beneficial for students. It is a waste of money. There is no support offered online.
Great for digital learning
This app was a huge help during remote learning with the ability to use the lively letters on screen! The various options for matching and tracking activities can be tailored to the needs of different learners.
Great app for learning letter sounds!
This is such a great app for learning letter sounds and working on sound manipulation skills. It contains all of Lively Letter stories and sounds for each letter, plus built in activities for practice deciding and encoding. A great value for your money!
Only two things I wish were different (maybe you will consider for future updates!!):
1. I wish there were a way to pause the story or song and then start playing again in the same place you left off. Especially when the story asks questions, I would love to pause and wait for the child to answer.
2. I wish you could drag the letters directly to the place you want them in the tracking activity. As it is now you have to tap once and it goes to the final position, then you drag it to the correct location.
Overall, this is an excellent app and you won’t be disappointed!!

Amazing App!
I started using Lively Letters as an elementary teacher years ago and now use the app as a speech-language pathologist. I could not imagine a session without the app. It is fun and engaging! I am a true believer of embedded pictures to aide the learning process and Lively Letters does this seamlessly.

I like how this app allows selection of specific sounds to address.
Great Resource!!
I started using this App during remote learning. This is so easy to use with Zoom meetings. The students were engaged and the activities helped to keep the lesson moving.
Lively Letters —App
I have been using this app and program with my students for two years and absolutely love it. Students who have struggled in the past with learning their letter-sound associations now learn them with little difficulty. I also love how they have included Spanish descriptions for the English letter sounds as well. This has supported some of my English Language Learners to understand that the letters represent different sounds in English and Spanish. The kids also love the matching game and the encoding/decoding game especially because of the alien words sound.

My 2 year old loves this app and I love that it’s helping her learn the Sounds of her letters instead of just the name.
Every parent and teacher needs this app
Lively Letters is one of the MOST evidence-proven programs out there. I’m a reading specialist and dyslexia interventionist and I use it with the students I tutor. To reinforce, my student’s parents use it at home and find it very user friendly. I recommended it to my friend who has a 3 year old and she says every day her daughter wakes up asking to learn a new letter! Parents, teachers, SLPs, reading specialist, can use this app easily, and your kids will THANK YOU!!!!!

I love the program and the app. The app has all my materials at my fingertips if I am traveling or tutoring. I can also airdrop to my smart board.
Great app for struggling readers
This app is so helpful whether or not your school district uses Lively Letters. The games are fun for students and you can track their progress. I highly recommended this app!
Speech Therapist/Mom approved
I’ve been a Lively Letters user for over 4 years now in my practice and now I just purchase the app to use with my own children and we absolutely love it. Only problem I am having recently is with the audio on my iphone only. Not sure how to fix it.
App NOT working
I Just bought this APP. The story and song worked for 2 sounds (T and B) and then it stopped for all the other songs. Can this be fixed?

Sound doesn’t work
I was really looking forward to using this app with my students but there is no sound with or without headphones. What is the issue?
Nothing lively about this app
This was a big disappointment. I am a teacher and there is no way this will hold a child’s attention. I wish I could get my money back.
