Maps Function
Please let us use Google Maps (Android Auto)or Apple Maps (CarPlay). The maps function in this app is broken and doesn’t track navigation properly in real time.
Inconsistent…
When it works, the app is great. Keeps unpairing from my bike and the charging station info is outdated. Have never been able to successfully use the navigation from the app either.
Good idea, poor execution
The app contains all the information that I would want. That being said connectivity with the bike is sporadic at best. If I could connect whenever I want I would rate it 4.5 out of 5. Unfortunately, I have had to delete the app and reload it several times just to get it to connect.
Fantastic app
I am looking to purchase an S2 in the future.

Pretty good app for a wonderful bike. OTA updates still need some improving though - but that is likely more the bike than the app.

Basically the title… When the app works, it does exactly what you need it to do without any crazy bells and whistle (which I personally like), but sometimes for seemingly no apparent reason, the app can like “disconnect” or not sync with your S2. So instead of reading, “last synced 8 seconds ago” it’ll say, “last synced 8 hours ago” and show the bike as it was in that time. It’s frustrating and I don’t know why it happens. If they fixed that this app would be perfect.

Tesla bike
This app makes my s2 work like my Tesla in a lot of ways! Tracking and alarm system to my phone is amazing! Nav is nice, could be simpler if it used Google Maps or Apple Maps but it works.

Constant source of aggravation
App has not communicated with the bike for months. Almost completely useless.
Improving with Every Release
Setting charge percentage via the app was a welcomed upgrade. Keep up the good work!

Won’t pair with bike
The app was difficult pairing with the bike two years ago. App stopped working (said it needed to pair with bike) and I haven’t gotten it to pair again - tried many times to pair - I never got it to work since.

Does not work
Haven’t ridden for a couple weeks and cannot connect to my bike. I’ve had so many issues with this app. Never quite seems to work right.
Update: I wrote this review a year ago and just now received a generic response from Livewire. Same problems exist with no dealership close that will work on it.

Can’t ever get this to sync with my bike
This app never syncs with my bike anymore. I’ve removed it and can’t even get it to add it back.
Needs some improvement
The app is ok, but it needs some improvement. Ideally, I could use my Apple Maps GPS and have that shown up in the screen. I’d like to be able to avoid highways or tolls, should be an easy feature to add. Sometimes the route shows in the screen, sometimes it doesn’t, sometimes I get voice directions, sometimes I don’t. More consistency would be fantastic.

Love this app.
Good with some weird limitations
The app adds some useful functionality to the bike but some obvious things are missing, like the ability to use Google Maps for navigation (or the ability to use Livewire’s navigation to set a home or work location). It’s also not possible to start or stop charging or change the target charge percentage in the app - you need to do it on the bike.
I’m glad the app exists and I hope some of these weird omissions are fixed.

Works as advertised
Yes the app works and I have not had any issues. New purchase in 2025 and I’m loving how this works. Need an RFE for those with Bluetooth helmets. Aural experience options tied to throttle. Yep it’s a fun idea. Add some sound to the experience. A Harley sound or even a Jetson sound would be hilarious and fun. Let’s make it happen and be the first electric motorcycle to do this.
