A wonderful classic

Full disclosure: I worked on the 2012 version of this game as a narrative designer for Big Fish. Playing it here in 2026, I’m impressed with how well it holds up as a wonderful classic in the HOPA genre.

Worth the time and cost! The game designs are beautiful, the storyline is a good length, the puzzles are fun, challenging and keep me on my toes.

Charged me twice

I purchased this game in 2022 and I went to restore the purchase and it charged me again. No warning at all.

Finding objects

All finding object mini games are exactly the same and happen every 2 minutes! They could have varied the object search with silhouettes or round pieces of pictures, but it was all exactly the same and boring.

Disappointed

I love games like this. Unfortunately, I don't bother with games that I can't zoom in on my phone. The graphics tend to be pretty dark, which is fine since it’s applicable to the theme, but it’s very difficult to see anything. Seems like a very simple fix.

Fun game in General

Fun game I liked the graphics but please stop making the game so that we have to play your sound and music. Also stop making some of the puzzles so large that they mess with the screen changer drop down at the top of an iPhone drive me nuts to try and turn a puzzle piece and constantly have to toggle back from my screen settings because it’s to close to the top of the phone

Not worth it

All of these games for the tablet are way too expensive. $7 for a game that won’t even take a hour to complete. Ridiculous

I miss games like this

I miss playing games like this!! First time I’ve heard of Fox Friendly but not the first at playing hidden object/adventure games. This was awesome to play. The graphics were taking me back when I first started out playing games like this. The story line always got me and I’m like “he did whaaaaaat?” Hahaha I can’t wait to play the others.

Waste of Money

This was by far the worst game I’ve played. Do not be deceived by positive reviews. The storyline was terrible, the puzzles were nonsensical albeit easy. Many words in the hidden items mini games made no sense and looked more like translation gone wrong. The graphics were very outdated, not sure what they meant by ‘Remastered’, probably the price. All n all I was happy to be done with this game which thankfully is pretty short, another point that doesn’t justify the price.

Beautiful

I love these games, the artwork is stunning! I actually played the original many years ago so it’s lovely to get a remaster. Friendly Fox are the best studio for this genre, got most of their games. Perhaps we could get the otherworld series (spring of shadows, omens of summer, shades of fall) remastered one day? They were just amazing games, very sad they stopped working when Apple went 64bit.

I loved the game, but it only let me play so long. It would tell me that I have to buy the rest of the game. Would give more stars if I could play the rest of the game.

Addictive!

Beautiful graphics, music and fun to play. I love that I only pay once instead of buying coins or annoying ads. I think I will have to go to rehab for game addiction as this is the 7th one I’ve played!

So Much Fun!

One of the THEE most enjoyable, fun, satisfying games I’ve ever played.

The written commentary after certain cut-scenes was so informative and fun.

And seeing the timer showing me how long I’ve been playing was fun too.

Trying to find squirrels in every scene cracked me up. Like, why squirrels? But I loved it!

Both the main game and the bonus game were really long too.

The graphics, the sound, the storyline, the dialogue, it was all so much fun!

I’m going to play it again f’sho!
