What a disappointment

The app seemed to have good potential but unfortunately it constantly crashes. Couldn't get to actually use it. Very disappointed. What a waste of money.

Response from developer

We apologize that you had issues with LiVo. Pls. contact us at the given support email. We try to fix any issues as soon as possible and give you any help you need in solving issues with the App.

Awful

Loaded with ads and nothing worked. Tried to add my openhab to it but it seemed like items never saved. Layout also looked like it was made for a smaller screen than the current gen iPhones.

Response from developer

We significantly reduced the amount of ads shown in the free version of LiVo. We hope that this helps getting a better user experience with it.

Unintuitive, clunky.

I've never used an interface that confused me so much in my life.

Most of the panels you create are large canvases you scroll around. Editing them, well good luck figuring that out. It's like the developer took every known convention in the book and replaced it with something out of a dark ages book. So frustrating.

Plenty of much better options around.

Response from developer

One of the most powerful features of LiVo is the capability of completely customize your home control panels with many different widgets, any style applied to the widget is adaptable either by selecting one of the predefined stylesheets or by setting your individual styles. We also added a zero effort automatic setup once you add accessories to the house. We hope that all these new features could improve your user experience with LiVo. In case you still have issues, pls. don't hesitate to contact us at our given support email address.

Get this app if you want awesome home control

I'll get this out of way quickly: this is an amazing app. It will allow me to have the awesome wall-mounted iPad home controller that I've always wanted. Amazing control and beautiful. But that is not what this review is about. It's really about the support. I had a problem setting up openhab (my fault not the apps) and I emailed the creator. They responded immediately and helped me fix it (and continued to email me to make sure everything was ok). All creators need to be this amazing.

For those who want total HomeKit control

If you have a lot of HomeKit devices like I do, and you want to be able to build your own control panels structured the way YOU want it, then this is the app for you. It is the ONLY HomeKit app I could find that gives you total flexibility for creating your own control panels with switches, dimmers, and scene calling. Looking forward to seeing this app continue to grow.
