Nice app, but paywalled with a high price for no reason
I do like this app. I enjoy the simplicity and it has the best UI out of all the other reptile tracking apps I’ve used. However, you need to pay if you want to add more than two animals, which is a pity because the app would be much more popular if it wasn’t. To be honest, I would’ve paid for a premium if it was a reasonable one-time fee—but this app employs the subscription based model whose purpose is to wring out more money from its users. I also do not see the point of having to pay $40 a year for this app when many other alternatives already exist in the market that is free to use while performing the exact same job with a slightly less aesthetically pleasing UI. I currently only have two animals, but I will 100% be leaving to a different app in a foreseeable future when I get my third pet snake.

Love this app!
This app has truly changed how I manage my reptiles. I love the different features and it’s user friendly. The developer is always open to feedback, so it’s been great watching the app develop and come out with new features. It makes taking care of all my reptiles so much easier!
Calendar
When I downloaded the app l thought that there would be a calendar for important dates because in the video on Reddit it showed that.

Simple and so useful!
I LOVE this app. I am a “grandma” to a bearded dragon and a leopard gecko. We have the app installed on mine and each kids device so I can monitor their care and we can each log what we do with our pets. Particularly during brumation or with things like the UVB, it’s so helpful to have a solid record. Makes vet check ups super easy and keeps our busy family in sync with our beloved cuties. Features added over the last year have been wonderful - so thankful I heard of this app on Reddit!

almost entire app behind paywall
was excited to get it after i saw it on reddit and seemed just like what i needed, however i was disappointed to find a lot of stuff was behind a paywall, you can only have 1 reptile, other features also need payed, don’t download unless you want to pay a subscription for it.
Only lets you add one pet before paywall
Great in theory but you can only add one pet before a paywall. While $4.99 a month isn't crazy, it's still unexpected, most apps will let you add 3-5 animals before a paywall. If I had more than a few reptiles that I needed to keep up with it would be worth it.
Frustrated
I’m frustrated because I like the layout of this app; the other ones I’ve seen are too complicated for me, as I’m not interested in breeding, so the layout of this one has worked for me great. However, a month after downloading they came out with an update and ever since then, anytime I click any button that’s supposed to lead to my critter logs, the app completely closes. My phone is up to date, so is the app, I’ve restarted my phone, I’ve even written support about the issue just to let them know there was a glitch. To their credit they seemed concerned, however since then there has been another update and I’m still having the same issue. It’s frustrating, and even if this is an isolated incident regarding my phone for whatever reason, I have to switch apps. Hopefully down the line I can redownload and use it again, but until then I’m not gonna pay for an app that doesn’t work for me.

Paywall yawn
No mention in description that the entire app is behind a paywall if you want to add more than 1 animal
Nice app!
Please add marginated tortoises and a one-time purchase option. Otherwise perfect app.
Great potential, some bugs
Like updating birth date and acquired date. Anytime I change these values the other date field resets to today.
Not what I hoped for
Was really excited to use this app for keeping all my pets info and I had to pay to be able to use a majority of the app making it so that it’s not useful to me
Limited Features
There’s very few modern app that lets you track your reptiles. This app would’ve been good, but it’s behind a subscription paywall. You’d need to login, a bit unnecessary but hey it should save over the server… Then you can only add one pet, you can give basic details like age, feeding, weight, etc. But if you want to add more than one pet, that’s a paywall. Want to set up a frequency schedule? Paywall. It’s not even a good diary, you can just use any other modern note apps or school reminder, and it would just be better.

Great idea, but not what I thought it’d be
First off, please know that what this app provides (or intends to) is really great. And perhaps my problems are user error. But unfortunately, the app isn’t exactly what I thought it was.
These are the main reasons I feel that way:
• Slightly challenging interface. This could be my own fault, but it’s difficult to log the info of any feedings or changes. I can’t find where I can put a detailed feeding or other entry, only the quick log. And you can’t list a feeding without entering the food supply/quantity in a separate place. I totally get why this is a thing, but it feels inefficient to have to do that before you can log a feeding. But maybe this is only an issue when you get bulk feeders and don’t have a count on them, I’m not sure. Also, you can’t change the date or time of the feeding in the quick log.
• You cannot use this app for free. Don’t get me wrong, it’s perfectly understandable for an app or service to cost money! I don’t mind that at all. But the app and it’s description doesn’t tell you in advance that, once the free trial ends, you can’t use the app anymore unless you pay. I don’t mind paying for apps, but it is free on the App Store and the description gives no indication that it’s actually a subscription service. I wish I knew that before I put all my information in, because unfortunately, that info is lost unless I subscribe.
Anyway, I’m sorry to leave a somewhat negative review. These problems might be user error on my part. I wanted to share this, though, just in case. Negative things aside, thank you developers for working hard on this app!

Awesome! My only suggestion is more types of alerts, like instead of just daily or weekly there’s yearly, monthly, things like that. Otherwise it’s really good :))
Few suggestions
This is an awesome app that is really really helpful especially if you have a lot of animals or just a busy schedule. I do have a few suggestions though,
-the option of a Gotcha day date instead of just a birth date. A lot of my animals are rescues so I have no idea when they hatched or how old they are.
- the ability to sort the herptiles, like by date added, birthday, alphabetical or by species.
-the reminders are a bit confusing when they show up on the home page, they are usually under one date but there will be reminders for the next 3 days under it, and it gets confusing with what I need to do.
-the ability to customize a reminders frequently, my ball python eats every 2 weeks but I have to just have her reminder down for every week and just remember on my own what week to feed her.
-lastly, seasonal and breeding options. Like the option to say when your animal starts brumation or when they are in breeding season, if they mate or lay eggs/give birth.
Also I noticed that you have an option for s yellow-foot tortoise but not a red-foot tortoise.
This is a life saver app and I use it every day and more people should know about it

Not worth money
Absolutely great idea for an app! But $4 a month for up to 3 reptiles? I have 6. So I would have to buy the $7 plan every month and honestly at that point I can keep track of everything in my notes/calendar. Or other reptile apps. Good idea…. Not worth the $$$
Login???
I literally couldn’t make an account I put in my email and it kept autocorrecting my name then the password requirements are ridiculous because none of the passwords I used would work even when I had all the requirements matched it’s just ridiculous.
Suggestions
Has a growing herp owner I think this app could grow so so fast and you should definitely advertise. A suggestion would be to remove the trial service but make some features accessible through a VIP service instead such as adding notes, Food Supply, QR codes etc. As someone who works in the animal field this would be incredibly useful for zoo’s etc for visitors to get more information on the animals in the reptile area.
Great idea!

Nicest reptile app so far
I have 15 snakes and 20 various lizards. This is the first app I feel that I can organize and document feedings and etc. I have only one suggestion. I have about 5 reptiles that are not included. Maybe place an option of “other gecko” or “other” and then can fill in the rest below on our own. This way I don’t have a to misidentify my little guys. Great job.

Awesome
Great app, unfortunately I don’t have the money to add a subscription in my expenses but good job! The application looks good and is easy to use
