Great app for load dev
Response from developer
Thanks for this — glad it's working for you. Keeping your recipes and barrel round-count in one place was the whole idea. More coming. — The Loadscope Team
This companion app automatically selects your optimal powder charge and seating depth for shooting. It then uses your confirmed load to provide live ballistics adjustments based on changing environmental conditions, and allows you to measure shot groups from photos.

Pull any saved load from your computer, not just the one you have open. The list now shows every load you have saved, with its powder and charge beside the name. Picking targets to send is fixed. The list opens with nothing ticked, so tapping a target sends that target. Each row now shows the target photo and the date you measured it. Requires the matching Loadscope desktop update for the full load list.

Loadscope Ballistics is a companion app that uses your confirmed rifle loads to provide live ballistics adjustments based on changing environmental conditions. It also allows you to measure shot groups from photos and track your rifle's round count.
It automatically pulls current local conditions like density altitude, temperature, and pressure via Apple Weather to re-solve your dial on the spot. This ensures the number you dial is specific to your load, not a general average.
Yes, you can photograph your target, set the scale, and mark each shot. Loadscope Ballistics reads group size and mean radius in inches, MOA, and mil, along with your dial-to-center measurement.
Yes, Loadscope Ballistics is designed to be offline-first. Loads can be synced from the desktop version by file or QR code, meaning no account, cloud, or backend is required for operation.
The app is free to download. A one-time $9.99 unlock is required for phone-side load entry. This unlock is free if you already own Loadscope on Mac or Windows, by entering your license key.
No, Loadscope Ballistics is ad-free. The app explicitly states that there are no subscriptions or advertisements.
Loadscope Ballistics is available for both iPhone and iPad. The iPad version offers a wider layout, displaying the load list, DOPE, and recipe side by side.
