Clunky and slow
Can’t quickly log in. Can’t play in different speeds during live streams when I’m behind and want to catch up on the fly in my iPhone app. So many clicks to get to my favorite streamers and their content. I try to avoid locals as much as possible but my streamers are here and I want to support them and Locals.

Great interface
Differently from Youtube, I can listen on my phone and still browse the internet and read an article or check my emails, at the same time.
Not too excited
July 27 2026 update I wish I had the titles so I know what I’m gonna listen to? Some of these msgs are over an hour. Others are only 15 minutes.

Constant audio and video delays
Hard to enjoy any podcast when it’s constantly disrupted by a litmus of technical issues. Do better. I don’t mind spending the money. I just wanna get through a podcast without the constant delays and resets.

I can’t never even use the app because it never loads!
Load times inconsistent.
Loading is terribly inconsistent and happens seemingly at random. Please do something about this, as it stands I’m only here for the creators I follow, and simply tolerate the app in order to watch them. The background play is appreciated and convenient, but I should not have to close out an app multiple times for it to work. We live in 2026, loading should not be this bad. I apologize for the harsh words, and I’m sure you guys are doing your best but this issue really needs attention.

Videos stop mid play.
Videos will play like normal and then will randomly stop and restart from the being.
I’ve updated the app. I reinstalled and it’s still the same issue. I’m glad I only joined 1 Chanel group.

Absolutely love this app
App and website broken
Locals is severely broken. It’ll only play a couple minutes worth of video before it randomly starts from the beginning of the video again even though it shows I’m deeper into the video than that. I pay good money to use this app yet it has been broken for a couple weeks now. Such a disappointment.

Last update has negative impact on app
The last update has essentially broken the app for me. If there is any interruption in video playback, like receiving a phone call, the video starts from the beginning. But not just that, subsequently tries to resume where you were last playing the video causes it to start playing from the beginning again after a couple of minutes. It is miserable.

What’s the point of paying if content creators can’t successfully live stream?!?!?
Best platform but still has its share of problems
They’re cool for letting the creator and supporters say whatever the HECK they want whether on stream or in the chat but a lot of problems with creators not being able to stream, unless the content creators I’m consuming are lying and just being lazy, who’s to know what’s truth. Locals still gets a 👍🏻 from me

If you’re associated with Locals tech/app management team you’re undeniably horrible at your job. You’re the reason why people unsubscribe from creators because the app is so poorly made by people that undeniably don’t know what they’re doing.
